Neymar Jr. tweeted an image of his face scan in PES 2016, which includes the tattoos he has on his neck.

That is just unreal. I can't believe this is scan for the game, because the trailers out don't even look close to this kind of detail, and how will the generic faces or for that matter, the field of play measure up to this. I don't know

That is just unreal. I can't believe this is scan for the game, because the trailers out don't even look close to this kind of detail, and how will the generic faces measure up to this. I don't know

I guess Adam wasn't lying when he said they were still touching up the graphics at E3.

Keep in mind, these static images always look 1000 times better than what the faces look like during game-play. And PES has some has had some pretty ugly lighting in most contexts in recent years. Hopefully that improves.

Diff between last year and this year is vast. Huge improvement. Adam confirmed about 500 new faces on his twitter account

Much more photo realistic for 2016.

The problem with guys like Neymar though is that they change their hair style so often. He probably goes through 10 diff looks a year, lol.

And he was going back and forth with people about face-scan vs digital build. Thankfully he's of the opinion that scanning isn't always the best. I'm gonna go out on a limb and saying the PES Varane will be better than EA's.

I presume this means that Neymars face from the trailer is different from the new one we will see at GamesCom?

I also wish Konami would focus more on small details, like ball boys and refs making a line with the spray can. Thats the details that separate FIFA and PES for me. They should make interactive loading screens like FIFA and make sure the game never gets a black screen in game any more, but everything goes fluently. No need to cut the camera to dark no more.
