Re: Earning Badges in NBA 2K15
In stead of choosing a playstyle i think the creation and caps could be more dynamic if you were to chose a mentor you want to model your game after. i.E i make a sf and choose Bird as my mentor. My height is capped at 6'10 but im able to make a 98 overall player with low physical caps. Dont like being slow? I can choose a dr.J or Pippen mentor with respective height caps and attribute caps. The goal here is to make every my player have a weakness for ballence. If if they choose to go for an allaround type "labron" height cap chould be 6'9 and you cant shoot or rebound as well as a larry type. This should also effect possible badges earned angain for a more balanced game. If you want to play like a 7'2 monstar from space jam thats fine but have that player locked to offline only..... Other examples of mentors pg,MAGIC,PEYTON,NASH,RONDO,WESTBROOK,STOKTON sg. kobe/mj, Wade,ALLEN/miller.Your playing checkers, and im playing chess-Comment

But of course as his career went on he altered his game to become more polished as his natural ability began to decline, he would begin to add fade ace & shot creator to his arsenal. So a decent progression/regression of those attributes would be crucial to the overall structure of the Play-Style/Mentor scenario as it's been mentioned.
Personally, I think this is a good thing. If I have a pass first PG. It should be much harder to obtain any of the shooting badges as my game doesn't need those badges. Makes choosing the wrong play-style a detriment in MyCareer as mentioned by a reply earlier. It also adds varying depth and options to the game. It's a more Sim way to create multiple types without everyone being the same. With this scenario we have laid out, it's easier to get "specialists" like Korver. It also prevents the crazy player builds we run into at the Park/Rec.
Very good idea from the community.Last edited by PaR@bLe; 01-15-2015, 07:55 AM.PSN: PaR_a_bLe

I've seen more 'Lucky 7's' than I've seen this...basically 4 to none.Comment

All dribbling moves, specifically spin moves. Everyone going after that badge has either lost the ball being bumped or it's been out right stolen. Those are technically attempts, but the act was never completed.
Any of the short shots, Euro, Spin Lay-in, Hop Step can all be altered during the act but you're still attempting them.
I just don't think the list descriptions were clearly stated and I feel my 'attempts' never helped me achieve the badge.Comment

It's glitched, along with Hardened and of course Bruiser.

I don't have Swagger, but I don't recall saying that I did. I told people what the celebrate button was, which is clearly told in the game.
That link says nothing about Bruiser except for some random person asking why bigs can't get Bruiser. I've had Bruiser for a LONG time on my SF. Meet the height/weight/strength requirements, play physical. Lots of off ball bumps, holding, etc. Those things may not actually unlock it, but it's the way I played and I got it in my first season.
"Your height to weight ratio (metric height / weight in lbs) must be 0.905 or lower. Your weight must be 220 pounds or more.
You must play 10 games into the season. And your strength attribute must be as follows:
- PG: 70
- SG: 75
- SF: 80
Note: You are currently unable to earn this as a PF/CChicago Bulls
Baltimore Orioles
Minnesota Vikings

Not the point. Nothing says that celebration animation is the same as "ambient button". You're making the assumption that it is when a) you haven't achieved it & b) people that have that many celebrations & more still don't have it.
"Ambient button" may be the pull back celebration animation. I don't know, but if someone triggers that badge please let everyone know.Comment

Re: Earning Badges in NBA 2K15
The MyPlayer clothing store is lame as hell. I don't want to be a shirtless clown. Why don't they offer home, alternate and throwback jerseys? Wearing a Supersonics jersey would be awesome. I have a question about Acrobat. Once I learned reverse layups and 4 change layup shots got acrobat, I got it in 3 games on my shooting guard. I'm having issues getting it on my center and SF. Keep in mind that I've attempted this from the very start of my career. Despite only playing 15 total career games on my SF, I know I've met the reverse layup requirements. The change layup requirement confuses me. Is it talking about manually changing hands or auto animations? It seriously wouldn't allow me to manually change my shot. Do you need a certain layup package or level of inside scoring? I'm rolling with default packages right now.Comment

So, is fade ace glitched for PGs? I've did way more than 30 fadeaways this season and the season before that. Anyone that's a PG unlock this badge?HATE LOSING MORE THAN I LOVE WINNING!

No, there isn't a glitch but the badge only recognizes fades that come from a stationary position. you'll know it's a fade-away if your shot meter is considerably quicker.Comment

Re: Earning Badges in NBA 2K15
So do it in the post while I have a live dribble? Meaning I can't put the ball on the ground? If so, and if that's the only way it activates, it's really no point for me trying to get it.HATE LOSING MORE THAN I LOVE WINNING!
