Messed with the demo and absolutely love the pace of the game (I am a soccer noob).

I play with one of my brothers and we love the online co op seasons in FIFA...I assume there is nothing like that in PES?

    Thanks in advance.

I love this game. I traded in FIFA 15 for this game and I am pleased with what I have played.

As a soccer coach, I'm all about realism, and this is where PES comes in. Player ID is captured better than ever, as you'll notice the star players stick out, from the way they run, to how they play. Player ratings really do matter. Team ID is also in, you'll see the likes of Pirlo playing long balls to Llorente to play it off for Tevez. I watched Argentina decimate Mexico's defense, it was too much with Di Maria, Tevez, Messi and Aguero to deal with, handing them a 6-1 defeat. Messi & Aguero with their speed and dribbling, I watched them take on defenders 1 v 1, it was difficult to contain them. This is how it should be. If you have star defenders, they'll be a force in the back.

Speaking of defenders, the cpu AI defenders play smart, they're not brain dead. There is a challenge of having to work for your goals, you just can't spring past the entire team with the fastest player and expect to score.

The graphics aren't top notch, but it's something that doesn't even bother me because the game play is that good. The sound I do like in the game in terms of the crowd, whistling, horns blowing...I even saw two players collide into one another, but I also heard them yell on the field as they did. Oh, with headphones on now, in a game of AC Milan and Sassuolo, I'm hearing the players speak Italian on the field. Switching the commentary to Spanish (Argentina) makes the game much more exciting.

I'm looking forward to playing this game for a long time, and to have Konami just patch up some things people have come across. For those worried about the licenses, don't worry so much on it. Right now there is a workaround for it by editing the kits as two users on Youtube are making videos step by step of correcting the kits as best as possible. There are rumors going around that PS4 as far as I know may be able to use option files at a later date, which depends on Sony, then we can get the correct kits.

If you're a soccer nut, or just want a video game that best represents what you see on tv, you won't be disappointed with this game.

If only Sony would have allowed image importing and sharing of save data......

I really like FIFA 15 for the EPL....stadiums, game style etc suits the premier league very well.

But I would like an alternative game for European football.....if I play the Italian / German / Spanish leagues, how authentic is the experience? People keep saying there are hardly any stadiums? I basically need to be 'immersed' so this is important to me. Playing every game in the same stadium would be a let down.

I know the EPL has no real teams or stadiums except Man U, but what about the other leagues?

Stats are a reflection of the game. With high pass percentage there's rarely an errant pass. Few errant passes means less counter attacks, midfield battles, and uncertainty that you see in soccer. I understand they need to boost up passing ability because of the shorter time frame, because the AI would not get enough build ups or scoring chances otherwise, but they overdid it big time. The AI strings together way too many passes, and the only real way you can get a counter attack is through tackles. It's NOT realistic at all.

I can't believe I'm the only one seeing this, because it sticks out like a sore thumb. Maybe when that "new game aura" wears off you all will start to see it.

Edit: And I would have seen this with or without the stats. After playing a number of games it became painfully obvious that the AI's passing was too accurate. Then I starting looking at the percentages at the end of the game and noticed just how far off they were.

Here's my most recent game with Newells Old Boys in the Copa Lib vs AC Nacional

They were really aggressive with their pressure which led to some fouls, a few cards, and a ton of shots. I pretty much fought off their pressure and grinded out a draw.

I saw one team at the end of the game, cpu controlled with 60% pass completion. I do think that passes are too accurate, specially those long balls. I have been playing around with the difficulty and noticed more passing errors on some more than others.

The passing accuracy is a little high as I have rarely see the CPU pass below 80%, the lowest I have seen is 70%. However to say the only way to get counter attacks is through tackles is not true. Plenty times I have started counter attacks through mistime passes and I see the CPU over hit a lot of passes.

                  Edit:

Been playing a few more games in my Champions Leagues mode and every match I was able to hold the CPU to under 80% passing. I actually was able to hold Shalke to 67% in the first half as they were trying to play long balls to their wingers, they were eventually able to pass for 74% for the game.

Seems like fluid formations makes the game a lot easier. I can score fairly easily.

I'm not really that impressed with this game right now, FIFA is much better so far. I do like the CPU playing the deep ball, but it's a step down from FIFA imo

Better in what way? I agree FIFA is better graphically, game modes, presentation, but on the field gameplay it's not even close IMO. PES once again trounces FIFA.

The shots float too much, and are way too accurate.

This is my first PES game. I bought it for PC last night and I was blown away how much more fun it is. FIFA is good, I like it. But PES feels more like real soccer. Plus an easy download of a mod and I have real leagues and cups.

I personally think it's better than FIFA's shooting. There is a weight to it that FIFA can't replicate and is more life like.

On ps4, I'm loving it. Game plays awesome and the return for more feeling is there.

On pc, not so much. Something just isn't clicking for me. It really feels like a half finished, rushed product. Hopefully once some good patches and gameplay mods come out, I'll change my mind. For now, updated fifa 14 with mods is my pc fix.
