I don't get all the shot meter bitching. I am getting realistic FG% with it in my games. the cpu was alittle high until I tweaked their sliders. but I guess I don't understand. You feel as thought its random. well maybe it is, and maybe that's good. unless you get perfect green, and its not a dice roll, its just hard to do. If you get near perfect, what is wrong with that missing occasionaly? and lastly why don't you do like the czar suggested and TURN IT OFF.

Re: NBA 2K15 Patch Submitted To Fix Players Being Booted off The Park & Other Things
I'm not convinced getting all green isn't itself a dice roll as long as the timing occurs within a specific window.
I can just say how it feels for me. I don't feel, apart from landing the shot meter relatively close to center, I have any actual control over the shot meter and the resulting shot success. If it does actually correlate user timing to shot percentage the game does a poor job relating that to the user.
Another thing is the poor balance between reward and punishment. Let me explain: A bad timing failure rate feels MUCH higher than a good (not perfect) timing success rate. In other words, I'm punished more harshly for a bad release than I am rewarded for a near perfect release.
And I don't know how practice gym is tuned this year-- in years past it was tuned to grant more makes to help users learn releases. If its not tuned for inflated makes, 50% makes is pretty realistic for game situations (even wide open). If it actually is, then it might just be bad luck. I don't feel anything is particular off in play with GSW. It's definitely way better than last year.Comment

Kindly FIX the SIGNATURE SHOTS on the EDIT SCREEN of each player on the roster. We cannot see the actual form if we will change the form and base of the shots. I hope this will include in the patch!Comment

That is not true. I've literally posted video evidence of perfect releases not counting due to some players having glitched shot meters. Shot meter is just as much of as teaching tool as the shot feedback for the past decade albeit a little better.Comment

The only thing I care to see patched are the highlights and stat overlays. I'm pretty content with everything else.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: NBA 2K15 Patch Submitted To Fix Players Being Booted off The Park & Other Things
I need gameplay patches. Every CPU shooter is Steve Kerr even with a hand in his face. Hate that. Nobody protects the rim for some reason. Let's balance the game and fix online. 2k needs to do better. If Live looks terrible but plays how it should.. Guess what, Live will be better.Comment

From how this is worded, it doesn't seem to be addressing game play issues?
maybe I'm reading into it wrong....seems like this is a quick fix patch for online more than THE patch...Comment
