I mean its going to come down to your own skill and preference. Right now as I relearn the mechanics and because my reflexes and ability on the skill stick are not up to the level of some people, I've started at Professional. I used some of Orion's sliders are a default starting point and set my game speed to slow. Beyond that I've made a few adjustments to address things I didn't like in the gameplay and I'm getting a good challenge. I've found last night playing that I'm bossing the game more so I may bump my difficulty up to world class shortly.

Sliders and difficulties are tough because we each kind of want something different. I play the game after work and after my daughter goes to bed so I want a challenge but not one that's going to have me throwing my controller. Some people are different.

If you're a middle of the road player, Pro skill with Slow and Orion's sliders as a starting point isn't the worst way to start off. I'm seeing a reasonable representation of football and am enjoying the unpredictable nature of the game.

Really enjoying the game! The only downside is I don't see a way to suggest the next match xi in the squad screen. I don't like having to spend so much time rotating players on my own, that was such a useful tool that is gone.

Some notable moments from a great match I played, United vs Villa (me). This was one of my first foray's into World Class + SLOW speed, with slider tweaks.

What a truly incredible match, so much happened.

First Di Maria was sent off on straight red in the 22' for this "questionable" tackle. I love the fact that the ref called this harshly, so much better than the ref crapfest in '14.

Another view showing how close this was to a clean tackle:

LVG immediately fulled off Falcao and replaced him with Fletcher! Lovely to see the CPU recognize the need to modify their formation. The first half went mostly my way after the RC, but Rooney volleyed for a goal in the 42', RVP followed up with a nicely taken goal in the 44'. I was gutted.

Then I managed to pull one back in 1st half stoppage time on this nicely played through ball, to pull it back to 2-1:

Second half resumes with a lovely Benteke goal from one of the best through balls I've ever played in a FIFA game:

Things are looking real positive for my Villians, until the ref decides to send off Guzan on a straight red for what appeared to be voluntarily being mauled Andseron-son-son:

How? Why? That's not a foul on Guzan at all. In fact, that's a foul the other way every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Keepers are protected in football. Anderson-son-son tried to hip check Brad's head, and earns the PK?

Of course I don't have a keeper on my bench because, well, I've never needed on in FIFA since keepers never get injured and refs have never sent players off like they do in '15.

Darren Bent (wearing a nice short sleeved, generic [No last name] #1 keeper kit ~ nice touch there EA!) couldn't stop the RVP penalty, and conceded one more to give united the improbably 4-2 win. What a thrilling match. I love the gameplay on WC SLOW with my sliders. I'm seeing something incredible nearly every match I play.

Cheers.

So, I've noticed that if you let the CPU attack pull you out of position, they will set you up for a real f***ed up day! And they can score some brilliant goals.

But, if you retain your shape (2 banks of 4, like the pundits like to say) the CPU can be quite dull. When I say retain your shape I mean switching players frequently, using secondary pressing only a few yards at a time, and refrain from running half way across the pitch with your DM, or worse your CB.

The CPU then pretty much resorts to those diagonal runs with the ball where it has that strange forcefield that never allows you to close down correctly. Or, it dances like Timberlake around your 18 yard box, until you either screw up your player switching giving them a chance, or they turn the ball over.

This repeats itself over and over. And it doesn't matter if it is Chelsea or Augsburg.

Just a thought on people who have problems defending (or attacking). I find a lot of my own issues in this area is usually due to excessive user input on the left stick. You really have to be careful to know when to lay off the stick. The refrain in pro sports in just as important as having speed and power. This isn't to say that the backline organization (at times), backtracking runs, and player switching don't have issues, but user input is something I find myself overdoing, and leading to problems at times with stagnant attacking and shoddy defending.

Unfortunately this is just about the most imbalanced, over-the-top, attack-oriented FIFA I can remember. The defensive AI is atrocious and can't deal with the wonderful attacking AI.

(Sorry, I don't know how to embed videos)

Here's John Terry not marking the Juventus striker. Such an easy goal for the CPU, you can't defend against this. Look at the space he has when he receives the pass. You don't see this in real life. It's shambolic.

Here's me (Chelsea) against Man Utd. Watch how the CBs literally just let Diego Costa go, for the easiest of goals.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FTe...8sW6c&index=24

Watch my Athletico Madrid defender literally get lost trying to mark the Inter forward. It's comical. Easy goal for the CPU that is out of your hands because of terrible defensive AI.

Here's another one. My defender switches off in his marking of the forward. (Then there's a goal from a crazy shooting angle too.)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o93Q...18sW6c&index=8

Again, the Inter defender just switches off. Another easy, easy goal for me.

Here's an easy goal by Diego Costa. Notice how much space he's afforded and the total lack of efffort trying to prevent him from shooting. So easy.

Here's an easy set-piece goal because two AI defenders don't follow my attacker:

Re: FIFA 15 Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here (PS4, XB1)

FIFA 15 is the most open game of football I remember playing. Ripping apart opposing teams, even on the highest difficult settings, is a piece of cake.

Here are examples (all on Legendary):

This clip here sums up so many of FIFA 15's problems. Watch how easy this counter attack is. Look at the acres of space afforded me. Notice how the CPU hardly even tries to get the ball off me. Then see at the end where I highlight the easy 1-2 through pass for a goal, in which the defenders just let me go by:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9-P...18sW6c&index=1

What's amazing about this goal is that the CPU - on Legendary difficulty! - does not attempt one single tackle. Maintaining possession, moving the ball to the final third, and then an easy 1-2... it's all so unbelievably easy:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9gF...18sW6c&index=4

Look at how easy it is to bring the ball down the length of the pitch, and how easy it is for me to maintain possession in the attacking third, leading to an easy shot. No skill involved whatsoever:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mthE...8sW6c&index=10

Another easy counter-attack resulting in a goal. I find myself double-checking to make sure I'm playing on Legendary and not whatever the easiest difficulty setting is:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQPD...40m14gJ818sW6c

Me ripping Juventus to shreds. Another easy counter:
