    NBA 2K15 MyTEAM Interview

We have just posted our interview with Visual Concepts' Kelly Wilson, as we go over what's new in the NBA 2K15 MyTEAM mode.

Will there be an auction or trading system of any kind?

Yes, we are happy to announce we will be featuring an Auction House where you have control over what you want. You can search for cards and place items up for varying lengths with starting bid and buy it now optional price tags. You can also track your current auctions, state of your bids, and redeem your winning items.

    Read the entire interview here.

Would love to try this mode. Just wish it was on HOF or Superstar difficulty with all these players.

I wonder if the legends they mentioned will yield any new classic teams we can use? Just thinking Tom Chambers and Kevin Johnsons Suns might make the cut now?

            Sounds good though.

From the looks of it, it appeared as if no more classic teams were added (a team select video scrolled from the '95 Magic on forward with no additions). In fact, I believe all the names mentioned in the interview are players who were included in the NBA 2K12 Legends Showcase. It could be coincidental, or 2K's held their rights ever since.

Sounds pretty awesome to me. I just REALLY got into the whole "Ultimate MyTeam" thing earlier this year with FIFA, and more recently, Madden 15, and the have been amazingly fun.

Looks like 2k has made this mode more accessible to first time users and with the auction house and lower cost on packs, should make grinding out games fun and worthwhile.

The ramped difficulties and challenges are what is really getting me excited. Different qtr lengths, difficulties will keep things fun and fresh.

After typing that, I'm even more pumped.

Bernard King?! So I can finally roll out my Knicks lineup of Frazier, Monroe, King, Anthony, and Ewing! YES!

I also think there are no new classic team.
But with the addition of those players in MyTeam i started to think...

What about a Legends Pool like FA-Pool outside of MyTeam.
This Pool would disappear in MyGm, MyLeague and so on.
With such a pool we could add certain legends to current teams and play with them outside of MyTeam. Or even create classic team with team.
2k seems to have their rights.
So please give us such a pool (or new team of course)

Is the auction house also going to be on the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the mode?

Not familiar with this mode, anything useful to strictly offline players like myself?

Really hope we can use the legends and put them in teams for the new My League mode. Kevin Johnson is off the hook! Indeed hope for Yao too Can you imagine making a Rockets team of Dream, Dwight, Yao, Moses & Deke :P
