As far as the receivers going being too passive, that's what user catching is for.... I hardly ever allow the CPU t make the catch for me. I do it myself more often that notComment

Re: Madden NFL 15: Is The Game Smarter?
Is the game smarter ? yea BUT its still severely flawed. When I see plays like Geno Smith dropping back then scrambles to his right then fires a rocket across his body to the other side of the field with pin point accuracy to his receiver he never even looked at I just shake my head. It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.Comment

Answer: NO!
The A.I is a complete joke. It didn't take long for the honeymoon magic to wear off. As far as A.I? this is nothing but Madden 25 with a new patch. I see the same poor pursuit angles, synchronized movements (off & def), Its funny how no one mentions the horrendous Man to Man coverage. Zone coverage is slightly improved but not by much. Exactly what did they improve? Just more lies to feed the zombie sheeple an excuse to buy the same game since 06 (Animations and all). NOTHING they talked big about even works.
Player sense 2.0? I still haven't seen Player sense 1.0. The players have ZERO AWARNESS of each others presence on the field. O lineman run into/ tackle the HB. Def players can't navigate around others to make a play. Instead of going around an off and def lineman engaged, he just runs RIGHT INTO them, effectively taking himself out of the play. They are like lliteral crash test dummieswearing football equipment.
60 calculations per sec? ...............Lmao
Qb inaccuracies?
Respected physics and player weight?
Living Worlds 2.0?
No, no, no, and no again. Thank God for Redbox rentals. You should NEVER buy a Madden game based upon the week 1's inevitable feel good fanboy impressions imho.Comment

Maybe smarter, but not smart.
Thats like asking if I'm Richer; So if I have $5 then $10 I am richer, but I'm still very poor.Last edited by BreakingBad2013; 09-09-2014, 05:30 PM.Comment

Anytime a QB sits and waits to take a sack or won't throw the deep ball, the AI is highly suspect.Comment

No I don't believe this game is any smarter then the other maddens. I've tested out all madden without any sliders while using the Seahawks. If you don't control someone in the middle of the defense they will murder you up and down the field. I just think that the AI that plays on your team does not match what the opposite team does. Your players won't jump routes like the other team everything is just different. That's something I really don't understand. Shouldn't have to use sliders if I'm pick the right play against their coverage.Comment

It's heading in the right direction, and i'm happy with the improvements that were made. I know the game is not perfect, but it's a big step forward. Madden 15 is far and away superior to madden 25, and that is obvious, unless you just hate madden and you are incapable of being unbiased.Comment

Play calling/clock management is definitely better.Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment

Re: Madden NFL 15: Is The Game Smarter?
Was in overtime. I kicked a FG. Computer then drives down field, gets to the 20 yard line. Clock was down to 5 seconds left. They had a timeout left. Computer decided to run the ball.... I wouldn't say it's very smartComment
