Playcall screen is either growing on me, or im starting to accept it is part of the "learning curve." Either way, its far better to me today than the first few times i've played the game.

For some reason I keep picking the wrong play, especially on special teams.

Maybe it's just user error and I need to pick a new setting for the button layout

Some more thoughts:

I give EA credit, I think the overall presentation is much improved and the halftime show (weird angles aside) is off to a great start

Same here. Well I don't pick the wrong plays because I catch it but it seems they are never the same order when you go into them.

Best Madden to date in my eyes! The graphics look great! The on field play is almost were it needs to be, and boy am I having fun!! Good job EA!

I think because they are never in the same order. Kickoffs middle us sometimes A, next time Y, next time X. Sometimes I get two return middles but no return right.

Really? Steelers ran the ball under 2 minutes in the first half and the accelerated clock was working. Ill try it again to make sure lol

Looking through my stats after three games. It seems the missing defensive stats glitch is still in this game after a few years. For some reason if I have a player in the top 5 for sacks or interceptions they don't dhow up under the NFL category, just my team.

Accel clock was on for me within two minutes as well, I use 12 second play clock

Please do. It wasn't for me unless an update I missed changed it.

Confirmed. I was down 34-9 (lol) and the colts ran the ball under two minutes and the accelerated clock worked. This is xbox 1.

Edit: It didnt work when I had the ball

Thinks that's where I was confused. I thought people wanted the game clock to accel also...

No the game clock did too, but I dont think it worked when i had the ball.

Aaah ok.. I haven't seen the game clock accel under 2 minutes but maybe when I checked it was when I had the ball...??

I wish there was a speed between slow and normal. Slow is too slow imo and normal is just a tadddddd bit fast.
EA did a damn good job tho big upgrade from the past several years
