Re: NHL 15 Top Rated Players

The ratings for the 25-50 range are way too high, having 50 players at 89 or more is a nonsense for me. It's impossible to have any kind of player differentiation with so many high ratings.

      Ovechkin 82 slap shot power

I hate that EA always lumps skating ratings together. First instance if they give a guy 87 speed, they also give him 87 agility, and acceleration. Why even have those ratings if you aren't going to use them? They've done it for years and it annoys the hell out of me. Same goes with the shooting ratings for forwards.

These ratings get worse and worse year after year.

Crosby at 96... I didn't think his rating could get worse from last year.

There's definitely not 11 players in the world better than Malkin sorry.

I don't like to get too concerned with overalls, but we've got 50 guys who are 89ov or higher? Kesler is an 90ov and better than Kane lol? Seguin can't crack the top 50?

Ovechkin has 82 slap shot power?

50 players 89 or higher. What a joke.

They've gone soft. Probably PA stuff.

No he's not. Four years ago I would have probably agreed with you, but the guy has become a PP specialist. Half of his goals and points came on the PP. I mean the guy scored 51 goals and was a -35!!! He's more physical that's about it. Stamkos is a better skater, playmaker, and scorer. Ovechkin is and always has been a "volume scorer". Feels weird to say that about a hockey player, but its true. Stamkos' shooting percentage is near 18% for his career. Ovie 12%. Stamkos has been a consistent 90+ point scorer since his second year in the league.

100% Stamkos deserves to be higher than Ovechkin.

I'd say ^%%$#@ these numbers...... all are 90's and not even far from each other!!! I bet in NHL 15 all of these players plays the same and you cant distinguish one from the other besides the color of their uniform or by their numbers! (Seldom you play ice level wherein you can see close up their faces.
