I always trade in with coupons/promotions etc.. Never gotten less than 20.00 for a past sports game.
Just knowing I would have Madden 16 and Madden 15 as a digital and I'd never play it again bothers me when I could have at least gotten 20.00 towards something else.

From the looks of it, ALL digital downloads not just games, are in your library. So you can download something and it'll go into your library for future use without charge. (At least this is what it LOOKS like). I'm not 100% confirmed on this.

I can tell you definitively - You are 100% correct. On the PS3 I downloaded/deleted/redownloaded games repeatedly.

On a side note - this is why I download EVERY free game you get on PSN each month. Even if it's not your cup of tea - once it's in your library you can delete it and come back to it if you have a change of heart. You may never come back to the game - but at least it's in your library so the option is there.

I trade most of my games in if I can get 20 bucks for it. I also like getting the hard copy, so I just can't bring myself to get the digital version.

I am really torn on this as I have a bias towards wanting to have a hard copy of something. I feel the same about books and CDs. Call me a product of the 80's and 90's I suppose.

However, I have yet to even decide about Madden 15 as they haven't given more than four sentences on CFM (and that information has been vague/not that impressive). Not to mention the rest of the 'features' really haven't impressed me at all.

As much as I want to have my first next-gen football title, I find it hard to believe that this game will impress me as much in its second (or 3rd) iteration on PS4 as Fifa or MLB 14 have on their first.

(I just watched the trailer on the PS Store link and if you pay close attention to the 'highlight' at the 0:17 mark you will see a big reason why it is hard for me to think this game will be much different from Madden 25 on XBox 360. The ball magnetizes its way into the hand of the receiver before getting laid out by a player that was going to knock down the pass. I don't know, it all just seems like something that I shake my head about more and more rather than something I get excited to play.)

Let me help you out and say go for it. Especially if you missed last year, this should be good. Even if it doesn't meet your expectations, it's still good. By the end of last gen, I was pissed with Madden like many of us were. But I had M25 for PS4, and it was great. Is it where it needs to be? No, foreseeably. BUT, it's a GREAT step forward from last gen. And M15 looks to improve on 25.

So you can preload this game. I knew that Sony had supposedly enabled it, by own experience and a lot of Googling didn't yield anything like the official PSN store link posted here.

Now I have to decide if I want to cancel my Amazon preorder and go digital. It's pretty tempting. I am one of those people who likes to have a physical copy of my games, but I have been using Steam to preload PC stuff for a long time now.

I have never done digital before and will probably be getting a physical copy of Madden 15.

I got Madden 25, Fifa 14 as physical copies, but MLB, and Watch Dogs (and now M15) are all digital. I have NO complaints.

I may go digital.... not sure yet I useally keep my copys of games anyways just wouldn't have a disc is all for 15.


not to count if I got it I could still play tech on the 25th.... since im on west coast... it will be ready 9:01 pm since were 3 hr's behind everybody.

If you're confident you are going to play Madden for awhile I think digital makes sense. I traded in M25 pretty quickly but I don't think M15 is going to leave my console for awhile.

I'm thinking about ordering from gamestop since I have a $20 coupon. I notice you can order the download version. It will be available on 8-26-14 and you can start downloading at 9 am. I believe. I was looking on the Playstation 4 store and it says a little over 17 gb. Is this correct or is this a placeholder? I just don't see how it could be so little. I also looked at
ufc game and it is 15 to 16 gb. Anybody know if this is for sure? I will definitely download if this is the case.
