Do you think we will ever find out what features made it to 360/PS3 before the game releases?

I wouldn't put it past EA to leave Connected Careers, and a lot of the gameplay the same as 25.

I'm probably going to buy Madden on 360 regardless, but I would like to know if they made any additions to the current gen.

My greatest fear is that as soon as someone loses a tournament or a ranked match due to an incomplete pass to an otherwise wise open receiver that video of that play is gonna hit youtube and the "why is my quarterback missing the wide open guy, COME ON EA" crap starts.

I am as excited for the inaccurate passes as anybody. If QB ratings actually matter now, wow, that is a HUGE step up. Please don't cave in on this one, EA

If people want to play head to head tournament games, let them go play COD, Battlefield, NFL Street or chess. This is a football game and catering to tournament players is just dumb. The tourney guys will play madden no matter what, make it into a football game and they will learn to adjust.

Exactly... You can't preach and market authenticity and simulation (which IS what they do) and then turn around and say you can't have bad snaps because a tourney player might lose 1000.00 on a bad snap. Just think about how ridiculous that is for a second. If you want to enable arcade football for these tourney guys, simply create different settings. How about an arcade mode that turns off penalties or REAL FOOTBALL occurrences. This type of crap actually gets me pretty heated.

Yes. It's just the constant contradictions and flip flopping of Tiburon and some of their supporters. They are clearly pimping simulation football now, so we have every right to call them out.

Without a doubt.

Thinking back on the pages of debate of IF they were making a simulation game or not seem funny. At least we know they are trying to. So have the standard to hold them too and no one can say people are expecting too much.

I wish EA would just bring in some guys from Pro Football Focus or something to get their stat engine on point. They should be hitting the NFL averages with everything if they are truly making a simulation.

I wish they would put an effort into making the off-field stuff more sim/realistic. Sim and XP progression just don't mix.

Everything a GC aka Hype Pawn says I take with a grain of salt. So far things look good to me and I like what I'm hearing. Several of the new changes cater to the more serious gamer who wants a better representation of football on the field.

My biggest concern is player movement and changing directions when running. Would love to eliminate our left stick running rules in the league where you have to restrict guys from abusing the poor CPU AI with regards to tackling.

Power Pass Rush

In Madden NFL 15, Players can now trigger power pass rush moves by pressing the X/Square buttons while engaged with a blocker. These moves used to be triggered by flicking the R-Stick, which sometimes felt unresponsiveness. With the new controls, players will have more control and ability to get off blocks. Use these moves with powerful linemen like J.J. Watt, Chris Long and Julius Peppers.

Finesse Pass Rush

Power pass rushers aren’t the only guys getting love, as finesse pass rush moves have also been improved. Players can now press the A/X buttons while engaged to trigger finesse pass rush moves from players such as Cameron Wake and Brian Orakpo.

I haven't played in quite a while. Can anyone confirm that you have to wait until you're engaged to pull off moves?

And wasn't there a time when you could choose exactly whice move you wanted and not rely on the game to select a finesse or power move? Bring that back.
