Although I'm definitely in the minority, this actually got me more hyped up for the game. I really wasn't expecting to be absolutely blown away by the graphics, and I actually think they actually look decent. Based on prior generations, my expectations were a lot lower than many people's here. I can easily understand why some people are disappointed -- comparatively, this game does not truly look "next-gen." However, it looks next-gen enough for me. As long as the gameplay is decent, I'll get a good amount of joy out of this.

I didn't know you could determine how the game plays and feels just by watching 2 plays?

Yeah it looks identical because it's still football.

very underwhelming...But I think the focus on smartglass tells ya everything you need to know...The look and feel will be the same as current gen...maybe a bit prettier...Hopefully what's under the hood will make the difference because that is something you can't replicate in a video

Blades of Grass has sold it for me. I gonna have to spend £430 for xbox1 and £45 for Madden 25 and £500 for a new lawnmower to cut them blades of grass. Maybe there will be dlc on madden 25 where you can get different types of lawnmowers.

Lets see they butcher almost all the fields in current gen madden by making them a crazy lime green, and now all they wanna talk about is grass improvements in the next gen game...well played EA.

This is the same thing we have seen time and time again, the priorities for this NFL simulation game are NOT on representing NFL football.

I don't doubt for M15 they will work on something like WR/DB interaction and some kind of enhanced modifier for all defensive positions. However they will leave a host of other issues untouched, while focusing resources and improved console power on fluff.
I'm still willing to give it a couple more weeks now. Coaching glass was never announced as one of their major marketing releases. I am now looking forward to what they have to say on the war in the trenches development they have scheduled.

The changes they made to the oline/dline is specifically including something that is focused on representing NFL football. Madden 25 saw a huge jump from 13 in the line play. If they weren't interested in movgin the sim needle forward they could have stood fast on line play and not taken the next step in making it appear that much more realistic.

If they want to develop some gimmick like coach glass at the same time to catch the eye of reviewers and casual gamers or to get in good with Microsoft by pumping their tablet then so be it, as long as they give me an improvement in a sim area. And that is exactly what that video showed. A massive step toward progressing one of the most important components on the field from a sim standpoint, line play. That run play, from a blocking scheme standpoint, looked better than anything we have ever seen from a sim standpoint.
