NBA Live 14 Trailer - First Look (Screen Captures Included)

EA Sports has released their NBA Live 14 gameplay trailer, which features a first look at their game in action. We figured it would be short, let us know what you think.

In the coming weeks expect to hear a lot more about NBA Live 14, some of the nuggets we are expecting to learn about are the 50+ signature styles in the game, Connected Experiences, and more game modes. It appears as if the Live 14 hype train has finally left the station and it's expected we'll see a lot more on this game in the next several weeks.

We've also captured some screenshots from the video. Obviously, they will look better in 1080p, these were captured in 720p.

I mean it looks okay, nothing revolutionary in my opinion, but I really wanted to see the rim interactions.

Overall I hope it plays well, I liked the Tim Hardaway crossover I saw there, and the dribbling did look like something Kyrie would pull off. Definitely a step in the right direction for the franchise, and here's hoping for more info and even better gameplay videos in the future.

Good start I'd say.

Visually it's reminiscent of the Live 07 trailer.

I just don't believe at all that the game plays like that. That's a spliced up trailer.

Looks good. Hopefully players move smoothly like that all the time, but it remains to be seen. The layup animation reminds me of the one Iverson had in Live 08/09, I think.

I hope the "sequel" is actually 5 vs 5 gameplay. Please don't continue with another short trailer.

Looks great. The cloth movement was a little odd, but I still like the overall player movement. The court looks awesome as well. It also doesn't look like everyone will be hunched over all the time.

Definitely looks promising. Looking forward to seeing gameplay in normal context.

They did say it was 100% gameplay footage, so I don't think there was any CGI in there.

looks good, reminds me of the first time i saw 2k9. Animations look like what we've been seeing from "the other game" for years. Graphics remind me of nba the inside next gen. They have that plastic toy look to them. Def. need to see more tho

Looks like LIVE is back. Now this feels like immersion, like you're really playing in a real arena. Good start.

Some of it looks stiff and yeah that layup he's doing is from Live 09. Wish they would've recaptured that.

I hate that they say "Gameplay" when they don't really show any proper gameplay. Show me someone gaming on the sticks and I'll get excited, this looked exactly like the trailer they released 3 months ago (they said that was real gameplay too). Boring.

The 2k14 trailer blew me away. This one was just meh. It still looks good though, definitely some progress from that garbage they were putting out last year. But you can tell they have a few years to go before they catch up with 2k based on how amazing 2k's trailer was.
