I certainly hope that when I get my PS4 for X-Mas with Madden the rosters will stay updated enough. I don't want to have the roster from August current-gen. I know I can update but since you will have to pay for online services starting on PS4 I won't be able to update until about late January (my b-day, when I can afford PS+.)

And please, just stop complaining and learn to be grateful we finally got to see ACTUAL gameplay instead of close-up replay angles. Learn to be thankful, life gets a lot easier.

For God's sake man, bring back the BEST FEATURE IN GAMING.
Head Coach 09 and Avatar Football both have create-a-play on the Xbox 360 if you are looking for a football game that has one.

Same dilemma here. I'm still waiting on what system to get but I'm still very undecided if Madden will be part of that. Not sure I want to start over a CFM in November but if things start looking real good as time goes by I might just have to. Still think I might just enjoy other next-gen games and start next-gen Madden next year. Definitely going to be keeping a close eye on it though.

How can anyone honestly be thinking about getting the Xbox?

Well, uhh, it looked like Madden. I had seen another gameplay demo from E3 that was mostly slow mo but now that I've gotten to see a demo more "real time" gameplay, it looks exactly like current gen Madden.
Wasn't impressed with the look of this but they have til possibly Oct before this game ships gold for next gen so roughly 4mos of work to be done.
Not encouraged but I have hope that I will pleased when I get my PS4 on release day with this game spinning in it...

Um that looked like Madden 06 when 360/PS3 versions first came out. Player models do not seem right...not sure about this. I really like what I've seen from current gen - so not sure what direction this one is going.

Cam does a good job in explaining how the game has been put together. I'm glad he is running the football ship at EA.

Wow, you all just love to complain... And some of you may actually be blind!!! How can you possibly say this looks like current gen Madden when there was an OBVIOUS DIFFERENCE in the Juke Moves and Player Control, there was an OBVIOUS DIFFERENCE in the movement and fluidity of the new OL/DL Blocking Scheme & Reaction... and how in the world did you guys not notice that... THERE WAS NO MORE HUNCHBACK RUNNING!!!!!! YESSSSS!

Man, I was totally hyped after the trailer, but after seeing this video... meh. Doesn't look very good to me. They still have not nailed the player movement. PS2 Momentum/Running animations STILL look better than this. That is what disappoints me the most.

Peterson looks like he is "prancing" more so than running like an NFL RB. I just can't believe it still isn't right after Player movement was one of the 3 main principles that the ignite engine was based off of.

The trailer footage was from a later build than the E3 demo, FWIW. Keep in mind, this is like seeing current gen in March, plus it's even a greater difference because they are using new technology and a new console to build the game. This game will most likely improve drastically in the next 4 months. This is not Madden 06 all over again in any shape or fashion. This team under Cam Weber gets it, stop living in the past guys, and get pumped for next gen and the future of Madden! The future is SO bright.

Yes,life is terrific but people are still going to have opinions based off of what they see. Some will find things they accept in current gen unacceptable if they're going to evaluate whether they'll fork out the big bucks for a new system. It would have to be substantially better for some while others may find it to be or make themselves believe it is.It's a matter of opinion.

After watching this again without the hype goggles on, they still can't make players move/run like humans. It's just like a straight standing jog still. Graphics are nice though..
