I finally got around to trying my Driving Force GT wheel -- it definitely worked a lot better after the patch but I still had to tweak some of the settings -- had to decrease the dead zone to almost zero.

Patch Update
The latest Xbox patch has been approved by Microsoft and is now awaiting deployment. Microsoft are well aware of the urgency of this and are working with Activision to expedite the process. When we are given a deployment date, we'll update you here.

Finally! That's good news. Microsoft normally releases updates/patches on Tuesdays though don't they? Hopefully they can get it out early, and not wait until next week. Hopefully that also means the DLC can be released finally as well! Be nice to be able to start playing this game again.
