Great read. I really hope the A.I. has been addressed this year though. They lacked the aggressiveness of a human opponent so they were pretty easy to beat, even on the highest difficulty.

AI played great. Even goes and tries to set up for the OMG moments.

Excellent write up ExtremeGamer! I'm more excited for this game than ever before!

My only and biggest concern is how Universe mode will handle the 3 Triple H's etc. Especially after the mess with the two Kane's last year. If THQ hasn't come up with some type of plan to eleminate wrestlers from Universe mode altogether or something it will render Universe unplayable.

Nobody would want to see Mankind vs Cactus Jack or Triple H vs Triple H matches.

I agree 100%! I also don't wanna play as Big Bossman in universe since he is dead. I'll gladly use him in a quick match but not in universe mode. I'm hoping we can deactivate some superstars from universe.

I find it very hard to believe that this will be as great as the N64 era wrestling games. Seriously doubt that. WWF No Mercy and Virtua Pro Wrestling 2 were fantastic.

The last wrestling game I played was WWF Attitude and WWF Smackdown! 2 for PSX. This will be my first purchase since than and I'm defiantly excited for this.

Between Madden 13, FIFA 13 and Black Ops, this is a good year for gaming.

As I said on twitter @ExtremeGamer Great Article very excited for WWE13! I actually think though that No Mercy was a bit over rated.. just IMO to me the one I enjoyed the most was Wrestlemania 2000 mainly because the entrances werent cut out and I know there were alot less glitches over No Mercy. I do however think wwe13 can be that game that lasts for a very long time as you know I've been playing WWE12 nonstop.. since release LOL. I think it's going to be the same with 13 just it will get played even more since there's proof the moves connect, wrestlers stay down longer etc. Great Read bro!

Great idea to input the Attitude Era wrestlers and PPV's. It should appeal to older audiences as well as the youngsters.
