I'm in no way defending their actions, but I just hate to see people saying stuff thinking its a quick fix. Yes, they could have been more productive with their time. And BTW, 23 we have not even seen ANY full gameplay video of the current build. People forget the build people played at E3 is 60% not the game itself.

I dont think anything is a quick fix, but for the fact that they screwed the pooch, alienated their fans, took 2 years, and we still see some of the same stuff popping up.. Brotha there is a problem at NASA

Not only that, but people talking now are just jabbering. If they release a game that looks no different than or less than their best iteration after all of this time, then they will be blasted to high heaven Elite style

I think everybody is waiting to see, regardless of all the talk

What I find funny is the kids coming here calling old Live fans...2k fanboys

All this 60% stuff and I bet we still see huchbacked, jersey painted on, too fast animated players/ lack of movement when the "real" gameplay videos come out.

Was there a passionate bball fan alive that played these games that didnt know what was wrong?

Yeah, I hear you man. I don't think they spent their time on the obvious stuff that I think everyone agrees on. The games are gigantic and there's is so much under the hood that plays into every single thing you see on the screen. I would bet they were more focused on deciding if the foundation was good or would they have to just start over completely. That's not a quick and easy decision for anyone.

if hunched backed players was a quick fix it would have happened years ago. They didnt fix the superfast dribbling animations in years and per these impressions everyone still moves and dribbles like they are high on pcp

Compete agree, I'm just waiting till I see gameplay/demo to make my choice.

LOL @ the bolded part, Never got the fanboy thing man, makes no sense to me just because you prefer one series over and for someone to call you that make no sense.

I thought it was established we all like basketball, but that is the start of the reason we have to ban people around release time, because some just take it too far.

Well, at least it's further along than the Elite demo - which was supposedly 50%...



I kid. 23 is right in his concern. It's hard not to expect there to be more given the calendar. But, trust me, that time goes by FAST and you're talking about going over and reviewing MILLIONS of lines of code. Not to mention evaluating and deciding on the next steps. Folks also need to remember that they only recently finished putting the dev team together. In the end, they already said that this would not be a 2-3 year title. We can't gloss over that.

Point taken. But we - the "hardcore fans on OS" aren't the only people they have to sell. They have to sell those that know nothing about anything until they see a screenshot or the back of the box at Gamestop.

Or how it's better in every way. People are going to hear what they want to hear... Until the sales numbers come back, of course.

At this point , i just feel there not cut out for this this. CMON, year after year, excuse after excuse... I actually had sone faith in EA this year givin the layoff. And now that i see that i see there was nothing but negative reviews at E3 ive givin up all together. And after seeing the mini trailer.... Im baffeled.

Well, if they listen to SOME fans, they may feel that their player models are just fine. You'll always have a crowd of people saying how much better it looks over another game. Or how it's better in every way. People are going to hear what they want to hear... Until the sales numbers come back, of course.

Since the hardcore crowd isnt the majority, then the casuals also gave them the boot

That excuse isnt working for them anymore, and we're all more connected than you might want to think in this day and age, and news travels fast
