Sage, you killed it, again!

The way 2K has stepped up the NBA franchise is just amazing. 2K11 was so good, I almost thought it a shame that we would be done with it after only a year. Now, 2K12 is taking sim ball to an even higher level. Just beautiful.

I love what I'm seeing about the new play calling this year. I can't count how many times in MyPlayer I could've used a branching play instead of throwing some BS pass so I didn't get tagged with holding the ball too long waiting for my guy in the post to finally get position.

Can you break us off with a Defensive Tutorial to show off some of the defensive teamwork and options to deal with all the offense we routinely see?...Thanks and I enjoy your work

GREAT attention to detail on the plays. That's what I like to see.

Organic . Da Czar uses early in the clip and its so apropos. Up until this version you would see the CPU constantly get hung up, "Calculating, Calculating", sometimes taking several seconds to make the next move on offense and it would kill the flow of the game.

It's like when you let a guy who's literally never played 5 on 5 before run with you. He's paralyzed by indecision when he gets the ball, so everything stops and the other nine players just wait, wondering what the hell he's going to do.

2K hasn't been that extreme, but for a sim of NBA basketball it's been pretty jarring. Looking at this clip, you finally get that feeling of continuity and quick decision making that has to happen in high level ball.

I'm sure that there will still be some examples of the CPU going into "Calculating" mode, but clearly it's been exponentially improved.

Hey Czar,

Great vid and always appreciated for what you bring us every year on the 2K side. One question for you though, I notice when you do your videos regarding plays you mostly show some of the higher profile teams and I was just wondering this year will you be showing some of the smaller market teams plays?

Like the Kings?

Maybe?
