Plus he's captain obvious with a lot of what he says. And he uses the phrase "now look" and the word "ok" way too much when starting what he's going to say or when he's watching a replay. Like he'll be watching the replay rambling about something waiting for the replay to show something and then when he finally sees something its "now look". Just something about the way he talks frustrates me. He says ok after everything. I absolutely hate it when he's doing a big game because it makes it less enjoyable to watch.

this guy isn't great but watch his Hubie Brown impression, he does a good job duplicating how he talks and how dumb it sounds. He doesnt sound like him voice wise but he gets his style down pretty good.

Now look, lol at your breakdown of hubie..funny but true. I find him to be a kinda crazy but entertaining old man for all the same reasons you listed. Ha ha...

Insane theory I'll throw out there: maybe Clark is being moved back to the College Hoops series?

I do agree about Hubie and Van Gundy, though.

The problem with Kerr may be that he won't want/allowed to repeat some (all?) lines from NBA Live. Which may mean that he'll need some new lines. Anyway, a new commentator means not many lines. It always takes about 3 titles to get the commentary more enjoyable.
Hubie would be awesome! His Basketball IQ and analysis of the game is outstanding.

It really is, I completely agree. If he is a commentator in an actual NBA game, even if I'm not interested in the game itself I'll watch it just to listen to this guy talk for two and a half hours. He knows so much and is just utterly brilliant about the game. He knows more about the game than anyone I've ever heard before. Also seems like a really good dude so that's cool too. Hubie would be a fantastic addition to the 2K Series, but I am also extremely satisfied that Steve Kerr and Kevin Harlan will be our commentators for now. That's one great duo.

Only downside is that they will have to start from scratch, and not build upon what they already have.

I agree. Hubie Brown is one of my favorites. I'd love to see him in the game.

Hubie Brown definitely needs to stay away from 2K I cannot stand him. He's just soooo Captian Obvious, someone mentioned it earlier he just rambles on and states facts viewers already know.

When the Knicks played the Heat a few weeks ago, they showed a graphic of the Top 5 scorers in the NBA, this is what he said, (and I paraphrase)

"Now you see, we have 4 of the top 5 scorers in the game today playing tonight. You have Amare leading the group with 27, it's not surprise to see Wade and LeBron in the top 5 as well, both average a little under 26, and as we all know Melo did most of his scoring in Denver and he's putting in 26 night in, night out. And obviously Kevin Durant outscores them all at 28 a game. So 4 of the top 5 are here tonight in this building"

It literally took 5 minutes for him to put what I can already see on TV in words. Maybe I'm a little biased because I play AAU basketball and don't see his basketball I.Q. like others do, but I swear I feel he just wastes time by doing that stupid speech thing he does. I hate Hubie Brown with a passion, I'd rather have the 2 clipper guys. And those 2 could be as bad as him.

Weird, but wasn't that big of a fan of Hubie's back in the day, but really enjoy the guy's work during this stint of commentary, He reminds me of Madden a lot in the "older guy that still gets it" way.

Didn't mind Clark, but just seemed out of place hearing his voice for a pro game, especially knowing what 2K is capable of doing with college basketball.
