Way to high! These guys are rookies make them earn 80+ OVR cap it at around there for the first couple picks and then spread it out!

I completely agree

I really don't think -5 across the board is even enough but then again I think that all ratings should be much more spread out to where each individual rating takes into account the full 100 point range and overall ratings would take in atleast 80% of that. Also, I do not think overall ratings should be judged on a scale that goes above 100 like they currently are. I feel that ratings should go up to 100 just because from a computing standpoint that makes more sense but I also feel that to get a 100 overall a player should need a 100 in each rating applicable to his position or atleast enough that when weighted by importance of the rating it averages out to above a 99.5. Such an overall scale would really allow differentiation of the players and then if it was truly represented on the field it would make a much better overall game.

mcclain is only the second pick that the fans haven't upped by atleast a point overall and correct be if I am wrong but I don't think a single individual rating has been dropped on average by the fans yet has it?

I've already have a problem with the ratings.

1. Trent Williams is more athletic than Okung. How does Okung have a higher speed and acc. rating??

2. Eric Berry only a 50 tackle rating?? Mays better have the same because Berry is just as good a tackler as Mays. And Earl Thomas better have a 40 or less.

Edit: Haden with a higher block shed and tackle rating than Berry????? I'm done...

50 overall should not probably be the average player but it should be about middle of the league in terms of an individual rating. Since overall ratings are slanted to the upper end due to only taking in positional and athletic ratings they should average somewhere above the middle but I would say an average starter should be in the 70-75 range with solid to average backups and weaker starters falling in the 60s and upper 50s and the lower end backups and lower on the depth chart players falling at 50 or below

Haden should be about 92 Speed (he ran a 4.43 on a wet track when healthy which is what Berry ran at the combine), and 55 Awarness IMO

Haden put up 21 on the bench in his pro day to Berrys 19 at combine and 18 at pro day

My guess is they trade Henderson tomorrow and couldn't find a partner to trade up. Or Gene is following his board and had him rated that high.
