Wow! Just, wow!

I am elated that agility will affect players so visibly, such that the quick twitch turnarounds will actually produce stumbles by players without elite agility ratings. I'm hoping that even those top-end agility guys will still not be able to do some of the directional changes possible in this year's game, but this is already an incredible difference.

Even more impressive to me was the video on acceleration. I've never seen a football game that translated this rating so well. Beyond cool. I can imagine how this will separate short area possession route guys who can make it happen in 10-12 yards from guys with long speed who can outrun you over longer distances.

This is really phenomenal work.

I hope they are working on other animations as well . Mainly the qb throwing the ball and the wr catching.

i was impressed with the acceleration vs speed, im curious to see the difference in a more contrast example like a 99 acc 80spd vs 80 acc 99 spd

Would be the same as before. Speed wins...i would like to see direction changes, cuts and how acc differs with players. One player in a circle and a foot race dont show it off enough to me.


Somethings up with the socks and eye black this year. Looks cool--of course Graphics did a good job.

Why did he just run in circles? I was hoping we would see some full sprints, cuts, spins, etc.

Really excited about the acceleration differences.

Wake me in August when all this stuff is supposed to come together, personally this feels like deja vu or ground hog day. I've seen this movie before, the cast and characters are still the same, will the out come change?

Good videos and illustrations of how the locomotion works this year. Would have like to see some cuts and juke moves as well to see how those play out from different speeds. Glad that acceleration actually really matters now by the looks of it. Speed alone was too strong of an attribute over everything else in player movement.

Will be interesting to see how the locomotion animations interact with other animations such as tackle collisions, catches, engagements and others. Figure there should be some tweaks there as well in how smooth they play out and blend in.

i feel ya man. it does seem that way. i hate this lil feeling of optimism i just got cuz i been here before. i am a lil hyped tho. i just hope this doesnt go the way of the Community Day reportings of the changes they saw and the "Green Screen Vids", where things got dumbed down so much from the blogs that most of the stuff was unnoticeable, unrecognizable, or just flat out lost in transition.

with all that said...looks good so far!! def a good start and i want to see where we go from here.

Have a cool drink and enjoy the spring and summer and july will be here before you know it. Then Ncaa 11 will be out and then a month later madden 11 will be out. It ain't far off. Just don't think about it then time will fly bye.
