It really should just be the Saints vs Colts. I get the feeling that EA is trying to suck up to fans by letting them vote on things like the demo & rookie ratings.

The demo is prob the only thing i'll prob play for this game because so far the Madden info is starting to get comical and the game has been a disappointment the last 5 years.

The most exciting game for me in the playoffs was the Vikings vs. Saints game, so that's my vote. The super bowl was a little meh, though it was nice to see the Saints win and Brees get his first ring. I bet teams are lining up to trade for San Diego's next QB since the last two (Elii Manning, Drew Brees) both have rings now. heh

Colts vs Jets... Will get to test both sides of the ball, and see if the D-line for a 4-3 defense can actually get to the QB, and as well as see how well a 3-4 Defense can get to the QB. And of course, see if having a dominant cornerback actually matters in the game.

Put Revis on Garcon, and Garcon honestly should NOT even catch a pass! Wayne would prolly still catch a few still. And then, we can see how L.T. looks in a Jets uni, and test the running game with the best overall rushing offense in the league, while the Colts are imo the second best passing offense in the league.

By far, this matchup would be the best because of the amount of testing you could see in the game. Cuz we all know, that what we see in the demo is pretty much EXACTLY what the release game will be like.

problem is the Saints are prob splitting their votes between Saints vs Colts (which is should be since that was the Super Bowl) and Saints vs Vikings (which was a great game).

I wouldn't mind seeing the Jets at all btw, they have the best rushing attack and I love trying to rush the ball in madden, especially now that they will have LT.

My ideal matchup in fact would be Jets vs Saints.

Yep. They should have had 4 different games with 8 different teams.

ive heard rumors that the UFC demo is going to let us choose 16 different fighters. Other sports demos should do the same and give us more than just the 2 teams, how about 4 teams because then you get a much better sense of how each team is different, you cover more styles and playbooks.

I think they should let us pick from the Saints, Colts, Jets, Vikings and make the demo 3 min quarters, 4 quarter game. That seems fair enough.

Although I tend to agree, you have to look at it from EA's perspective, including more teams and longer quarters could mean people who aren't football nuts like us will just play the demo and be fine with never buying the game. Especially including more teams is probably a bad thing in that sense because it would give more users access to using their own team.

Remember, not everyone is so hardcore about football like us and view it differently. A more fleshed out demo might cut into sales of the retail game.

This showing how small OS is in comparison to the big picture. How the votes go are how you average gamers think.

i doubt having 4 teams is going to hurt sales. People aren't going to just be satisfied having a 3 min quarter demo just because there are 4 teams instead of 2. And you dont include commentary in the demo so that aspect would be missing plus you wouldnt have any of the features you have with the full version. And you make it 3 mins so you can actually get a feel for the game and be able to put together a drive.

Making it 4 teams instead of 2 teams would have virtually no impact on sales results suffering.
