And the guys I named aren't in the top 10 at their positions at the moment?

I didn't mean to make you shed a tear...I was just saying it seems like if you HAD to pick a Colt, the last one I would have thought would be Reggie Wayne. He just seems like such a non-spotlight guy a la Marv Harrison before he pulled the trigger LOL

Yeah but I don't see what being in the spotlight has to do with being on the cover on Madden. The guy is one of the best receivers in the game and playing in the Super Bowl in a few days. Seems pretty deserving to be up for consideration if you ask me.

Also, Reggie Wayne should be the second person you would think of if you had to pick a Colt, after Peyton. Wayne is the second best player on the team.

Drew Brees, I would love to see him fall to the curse of Madden.

I was hoping there would've been some love the Great Kurt Warner now he is retired and riding off in to the sunset bound for Canton. Such a shame.

I'm sure the marketing department and the developers are one in the same. :

I realize people have issues with Madden that they want to vent, but common sense should tell anybody that the people that make the cover have nothing to do with the people that make the game.

That aside, to the people complaining about Wayne and Allen, EA obviously picked one megastar and two less famous stars so they could manipulate it to get the cover guy they wanted while giving the public the illusion of a choice.

i really think that nnamdi asomugha should be on the cover of madden 11. nd that is because he is the highest paid cornerback in NFL history, and quarterbacks barely throw to his side.

They should just put all 3 on there. Year before last it was one player, last year two players, only makes sense to use three players this year.
