what does that have to do with him wanting the sonics retros? its been mentioned on these boards thousands of times that it shouldnt matter considering not only do other teams have retros with no real ties to their franchise and nba live 10 has the damn sonic retros so there is no reason that 2k shouldnt be able to have em.

Seattle had a real nasty break up and maybe they don't want the OKC Thunder wearing their jerseys. Maybe 2k respected that viewpoint and didn't put them in the game for the thunder, or maybe they just didn't feel like putting them in-who knows. Other teams have classic jerseys PB, but those jerseys/citys are still linked with the history of those organizations. OKC in Seattle's eyes is not connected at all with them, they are a seperate entity. Even Payton is on record of not wanting his jersey retired or linked with OKC. I'd like them to maybe add the jerseys as a created team option if you elect the city of Seattle as the location.

If NBA Live offers Sonics retros in OKC then I'd say 2K should follow suit. Though, as you said, maybe it has something to do with respecting the wishes of the Seattle franchise, but I don't find that scenario very likely.

I agree with the idea of offering the jerseys in Create-a-Team mode though. I don't think NHL2K offered exact replica jerseys, but I remember they did offer retro logos to use in their create-a-team, and that was a start. Actually I think if 2K did indeed offer a vast array of retro logos (in addition to retro jerseys) for use in their create-a-team, alongside a court editor, there could be some outstanding results there.

For instance, imagine having the ability to assign the retro Bullets logo and jerseys to your created "Washington Bullets" team then being able to edit your own floor, placing the Bullets logo at midcourt (though I'm not sure the Bullets actually had that, but for the sake of dreaming we'll assume they did) and the ability to edit floor colors a la College Hoops. I think there's a lot of potential there.

That reminds me, I could have sworn reviews and game developers said that the "El Heat" Jerseys were in this year. I sure don't see them, Unless there's a code.

I'm quite certain they're on the game, but not released yet. I know it doesn't make much sense, since they were all used last year, but I believe they will likely be released via code once teams use them in the 09-10 season.

Meanwhile, I'm just as certain practice jerseys are not on the game (for Association practices) but I agree it'd be a real nice addition in 2k11. If the summer league jerseys are provided, practice duds can't be too far off.

im thinking that the retros will be "hardwoodclassics" or "retros" or "throwbacks" or something to that effect scrambled.

I hate the Thunder. I hate Clay Bennett. I play sport games so I can live in my fantasy world and control my team...in my fantasy world the Sonics are still trucking it in Seattle.

The jerseys would make it bearable at the least to play 2K10.

I'm not going to bandwagon and be a Blazers fan like a few Sonic fans did, so it really leaves me without a team to play dynasty with.

I've tried rebuilding the Kings and the Wolves, tried running with Melo and Stuckey, but it just is not the same without being able to run with my Sonics.

I hate how we share history with them, I think it is BS, but since Live has the jerseys, why not 2K?

I just want my fantasy to be reality

i hate clay bennett too! to me he reminds me of biff tannon from back to the future 2, a douche. i can tell the guy is a jerk just by looking at him. he never had any intention of keeping the team in seattle at all but if his intentions were known he wouldnt have sold any tickets or merchandise while he was still in seattle. the thunder are a joke of a franchise (however they have accumulated a decent amount of young talent) from their crappy name to that wnba logo to their stolen from the warriors colors and mascot name and those ugly, generic, just bland uniforms. i hope that team fails economically and ends up moving back to seattle.
