I feel like they turned the defense up to much, especially in the paint and on driving to the hoop. Fouls are increased, when drawing contact in the paint, but aren't increased when driving past your defender and getting sucked into a collision animation. Those are my primary gripes. In terms of 3 point shooting issues with guys like Jameer Nelson, this is the response I got from one of the producers when I wrote him about how unstoppable some of these guys are from 3, this is his reply:
"In terms of 3s, its really all based on Nelson's 3pt% (right now 48%). He is a high volume guy, so his shot success isn't decreased like it is for a small-time player."
This reply still doesn't make sense to me, at least not to the point where I can understand how anyone thinks it makes sense that a player like Nelson can routinely drop in 50% of contested three's he takes, when used and abused in an online ranked game. I've also heard of guys like Mo Williams and Jason Kapono being used to drop in 20 threes a game. Don't tell me "they are good 3 point shooters"...That may be true, but that doesn't mean they should have the ability to routinely shoot like this. I guess one could argue this could be fixed by adding fatigue. Then one couldn't use these players as regularly. That's my take.
