Guys, please stop spreading the OT issue if you haven't seen it. I just tested it myself and it was fine. If you've seen it, PM one of us.

To be fair though, one of the posters of the problem...BBallguru...has posted some great LIVE stuff. Tutorials on passing, fast breaking, tips on D.

He's a LIVE guy through and through...so, if he saw something, I'd tend to believe it happened.

Hoping it's an abberation / something to do with his and the other poster's saved files or something?

Jano's right. Lighting MUCH improved, thus now brownskin guys like Bron and esp lighter guys like Melo no longer look bleached in the Hangar, and in arenas it really makes a difference. Also, warping for boards has been almost entirely eliminated. These,among many other improvements already noted here, are my findings 8 games played post-patch.

Love the backdown button, and the contest implementation which has been a request for years now. Making guys miss much better now.

Great job EA. Now if ya'll can only address the CPU fastbreak/transition game issue.....

I just got done with my "test" run to see if it would happen again. I played a game with 2 min. Qs on Rookie difficulty in order to manipulate the game score to cause overtime.

Worked fine. I even let it go into double overtime.

Very strange indeed; I may do some more testing on it tomorrow to see if it just happens every so often... or was simply a one time deal.

The only saved files I have are my DNA Roster and my Settings. The past Friday, I did however clear my cache on my console to fix the replay slideshow/game stuttering problem I began to experience. (As others had)

Not sure if clearing the cache may have anything to do with it, or maybe previously having the game installed on the HDD (I've been running off the disc since Friday); do any of the other members who had the problem care to chime in on these subjects:

- Saved files?
- Have you recently cleared your system cache?
- Did you/do you have the game installed on your HDD?

I PMed Garreth with my experience, and he said:

maybe its my play style but the CPU is attacking and chucking up shots against whoever I am guarding against. they are running almost no offense and just shooting up shots in which they feel they are exploiting the mismatch.. on 12 minute qrts. im getting 20 more shots per half than im used to. i dont get it.

celtics are literally taking one shot off of one pass from the initial halfcourt set every time down. Is DNA broken for the celtics?

LBJ 19 shots and Mo 25. That happens almost every game against the Cavs. Mo takes the most shots and scores the most points. In Live LeBron is a supporting guy rather than a superstar.

I may need to revert to the dynamic season and old DNA, as the current is just flat out BROKE.

I have more videos for days and days but you get my point. atleast 80% of each series is one or two quick passes and chucking up shots.

EDIT: just played a rewind game from last season, and CPU paul pierce is on pace for 70 shot attempts. He's just driving non stop. this is BIZARRE!

That's almost every point guard in LIVE...not just the Cavs.

Maybe the EA guys can look at lowering PG offensive awareness?

Has anyone tried player lock yet if so how was it? Also are plays run automatically and does it show where you have to go and whether you need to set a pick, etc?

This is exactly my problem, the CPU puts up a lot of shots that just make no sense. When they drive the lane they don't respect your help at all they just plow through it every time. Its like they are only capable of driving to the basket or taking an open shot.

Doesn't matter who you play its always the same and it gets even worse against teams that like to Pick n Roll. They just run it almost every time down and usually it results in a foul b/c of how bad your AI teammates can be at showing and recovering.

As we know and as was said... by Steph, that this roster update is broken

Why dont you guys use the patch with the default rosters to see how you feel when you play.

i would have liked to have seen how many shots pierce was gonna put up on me but I need some rest. 7 minutes into the game game, he was 3-9 with two more drives that yielded FTs. By Halftime, I could see 20-30 shot attempts, with 40-50 by halftime. I guess I'll go through that hell tomorrow.

that was VIA rewind rosters this last time around. same results from the "brokenn" new rosters. honestly im not so sure its a roster/dna issue.

I love the fouls that are being called. Im just not sold on the game AI

I'm happy with the patch, my only real complaint, whatever they did to the nets on the hoop with the patch made some shots look like airballs but they really went through. Hard to describe, but shoot a few in the hangar, and you can make it out easier, but I've seen it in game as well.
