I've seen maybe a total of 10 to 11 guys that might have been off by minor hair details to a head size, but all the rest of them were spot on. Absolutely the best face details I've ever seen in a video game basketball game.
Bar none they take the trophy this season on graphics.Comment

I don't know about anyone else, but judging from alot of these comments, it seems alot of people expect everything to be perfect about these games. When I hear images of the starting line ups are up, I immediately get ready to see which players they did well, and which were crap. Theres always crap in the bag, or the odd thing like player complexion or hair/beard style etc. They improved over lasts years game and thats good of course. Most of these are passible. But the bad ones stand out. Haywood looks like Dave Chappelle. Dampier hasnt had hair in how long? He looks like hes gonna cry too. Monte Ellis...someone please get Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine immediately. Bibby has that Mr. Magoo face, hes always sad looking.
Wow what happened to the Knicks.... they all look bad. Troy Murphy looks like Squidworth. Rose looks nothing like him, Monte, Roy, Kmart Granger are all too dark. CP3 looks like Pookie from New Jack City. They did Wilcox?Sjaxdirty.
Most of the white guys look a lot better than last years. Whew they fixed Dirk, he doesnt look like Nick Nolte this year.
The very dark players like Zbo, Deng, Haslem, Kurt Thomas look like they belong in RE5 not this game. Wade/Calderon/KevMart/Kidd are spot on. Seems both games have a lot of misses more than hits.

ummmm I don't know what you all are looking at but these faces are not that great. I would even go as far to say that at least 1/3 are just terrible. I do like the hair a lot though
I do not like what 2k is doing with the pasty hair but I do think that the players faces look better.

Wow I couldnt find any flaws in any face. This is amazing, its pretty much perfect 100% across the board.

I think both games give a pretty fair representation of the NBA players' looks. I don't expect either to be perfect. Whether that is impossible, I don't know but as for Live 10's players, I think a lot of the players facial structures are very well done but I do agree that they pretty much all look like youngsters with baby faces. Maybe different lighting could affect that, I dunno, but it looks like the facial skin textures need to be "weathered" a bit more for many of the players yet I don't really care because the demo is crazy fun.
I actually made the decision earlier today to make Live 10 my sole purchase and went to take my money off 2K10 and add it to what I already have down on Live 10 but the GS store was too busy so I left. Will do it tomorrow, though.Just cuz you pour syrup on ish....Comment

The faces look fine, in fact BETTER than 2K10 for most players. The major problem is the color and lighting of the players and their uniforms. Like it's been mentioned many times before.....way too over-saturated and 'cartoony' looking. No matter how good the faces look.....the coloring absolutely kill the players graphics.

im sorry but some of the players look way off. like trevor ariza and delonte west. some of them even look like they are anorexic. the worst part is that they still have no emotion whatsoever. i need to see more please!!Comment

EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment
