The control in these videos looks very, very good. This was a problem that 2k had last year where players were real herky jerky in their movements at times. This looks very promising and it looks like we will likely have 2 good games to choose from this year.

Good direction this game is headed in. I suppose it is safe to say that was an early build perhaps shown...so I hope the ball physics as well as polish to the animations are refined before release. The cut to the basket animations looked a bit stiff as well as the dunk... Still, looking good so far though.

Re: NBA Live 10 Blog: Player Movement w/ Videos

Getting this game. In lieu of a complete debacle with the demo, I'm convinced. The Mike Wang video, and now these videos showing how quick and responsive the dribbling is, how players will be moving correctly offball/spotting up, great spacing and help D position principles, and player differentiation so Yao isn't pulling off amazing first steps and KG not dribbling like CP, I'm sold. The demo would have to be a disaster of Live 07 proportions, otherwise I'm getting this. Transferring $120 into savings right now actually, lol (for this and 2K)
                    NOW PLAYING:
                    NBA 2K16, MGS5

                    WAITING FOR:
                    Fallout 4

Wife: "Of course he's going out to get his 2K game at 12am, like he can't wait til tomorrow."
Wife's mom: "Be grateful that's what he's running out at midnight for."

The ball-handling system looks soo sick this year. My favorite thing about the game.

Both the ball handling and off ball movement looks beastly

You sure about that. You're not gonna buy 2K instead?

I sure hope so. I want to be able to play a game where big men can't run all over the floor, handle the ball really well, and just be used by cheesers to play a zone defense where they can stick anyone with the ball.
When the game is on the line, winners want the ball.
