Excellent, it's great to hear that we're finally getting a Q&A.

-What has been done to improve the presentation from last year? Has the commentary track been re-written? Will we get to see more replays in stoppages? What has been done to iron out the quirks?

-Does "signature style" go beyond equipment? With the exception of Ovechkin, will we see any signature celebrations or authentic skating/shooting/goaltending animations for notable NHL'ers?

-How has Visual Concepts upped the in-game authenticity/immersion from 2K9? Can we expect to see more "little things" from arena to arena like we did last year?

-What's in store for hardcore hockey fans and veteran hockey gamers this year? Will there be enough depth for "sim players" in spite of all the "party now" stuff?

franchise stats (scoring) last year were too low, your best players rarley broke 80 points... 2k8 was pitch perfect. has there been anychanges made to the player stats?

Last year the defensive controls took a hit. Skating backwards and moving the stick side to side was taken away. Can you expand on enhanced defensive controls?

Do wrist shots have more than one speed? In 2K8 you could load a wrist shot up for more power.

Can you elaborate on the small animation system feature?

In online co-op franchise, can we keep track of the stats that are specific for our friends as well as ourselves? For example, my friend has x amount of points?

Will online lobbies return?

Can you talk more about the Team Up games? Last year the AI went offside way too much. What has been improved in this area?

Last year, using the stick to deke was clumsy and awkward, your player would stop skating when trying to stick handle. Has this been improved and how does it work now if so?

When will the demo drop and what will be in it?

Regarding coop franchise online. When I invite my buddy to play in my Bruins franchise will he be able to see the stats, free agents, contract negotiations, etc. Will we be able to work on the off season tasks together?

And is the Icon Switching option to change players making a return?

Is there a way to lock the camera to the side (Broadcast) view so we don't have to pause the game to switch it every time we play?

Will fans be moving around the arena?

Thanks Again for providing an opportunity to ask some Questions. So let the list begin:

1) The skating engine last year was terrible to say the least, improper calculations by the computer software regarding player momentum and turns hampered the game's ability to "play" like real hockey. What has been done to make the skating engine more realistic.

2) In the teaser trailer, ovechkin, the cover athlete looked asian, is this the case in the game?

3) Has any new goalie animation been added? Has the fluidity been improved? Has the goalie AI been improved?

4) How much visual customization can we expect from create a team?

5) Is my player in NHL 2k10?

6) In NHL 2k10, can we expect ADAPTIVE AI?

7) What has been done to immerse gamers in nhl 2k10? Has the crowd been readjusted to cheer and boo at the right times?

8) How scripted is NHL 2k10? Has the goalie warp issues been addressed?

9) Is the allstar skills competiton back in the game?

10) Has the olympics and world championships been intergrated into MY PLAYER(assuming it is in nhl 2k10)

11) Has the length of the blocking animation been fixed?

12) Is it possible to now injure goalies in Franchise/Season mode.

13) Will we see some sort of new feature allowing players to control their favorite goalies?

14) Will there be a varitey of penalties in nhl 2k10? Will the double minor show up in nhl 2k10?

15) Has the physics engine been rewritten to provide accurate deflections etc?

16) Can a puck now hit a player in the face or knock off a goalies mask?

17) This question comes up every year but is there broken sticks?

18) will the stick length vary?

19)In nhl 2k9, it was obvious that some super star moves weren't meant for an nhl game like pointing out your shot. have superstar moves like these ones been reserved just for the all star game or do they still occur in the game?

20) Nhl 2k10 is suppossed to bring the most realistic yet fun game to consumers, how do you plan to do that?

Make sure you lambast the game before the next 80 as well it should get you a few answers.

Do Refs get out of the way this year or at least turn off ref collision making a return?(360)

Can we turn off ovey dekes? (360)

Are the offensive and defensive strategies still 2 button press's to execute or back to 1 as they always where and are there any new ones?

With 2K9, I Noticed Player Tendancies Were Added To The Game, Much Like The NBA Series. Any New Tendancies Added This Year, Like Poke Checking Maybe?

Will We Be Able To Edit A Players Looks? In The Past We Could Edit Everything But Their Facial Features, Can We Finally Do This?

Any Chance That Something Like NBA's Draft Combine Being Added To NHL, If Not This Year, Then For 2K11?

Its just that questions like this:

20) Nhl 2k10 is apparently supposed to bring the most realistic yet fun game to consumers, how do you plan to do that?

And This:

13) Will we see some sort of new feature allowing players to control their favorite goalies in a non arcade form(i.e. slowing down time)?

Come across a bit snobbish and borderline rude, along with some of the comments before some of the questions.

Its a lie... broken Game goalies are abysmal there is 2 for starters .

i like hockey. i watch hockey, but i didn't grow up playing hockey. i love hockey games. while i have learned a lot playing the games, could there be some type of explanation of the various hockey tactics to use and why?

a visual strategy tutorial would be best, but if we just got a paragraph in a help box, that would be great also. since there are various types of players, even a mention of the type of player to use for each formation would be cool.

hey, i know questions come out on the rude side but as you can tell, i'm still a bit on the sore side for wasting 60 bucks. Will i buy 2k10? of course, no question but i just want to know that they are really returning to their sim roots. 2k9 reminds me of nhl 07, complete garbage. it was perhaps the worst game ever made. imagine how people felt. It gets frustrating after you get 2k8 and 2k9 and they both suck. Yes 2k8 is sim and realistic but its also broken and glitched in several ways and 2k9, i still can't beleive they published that. the year off would have really been beneficial. Still though, it does look improved.
