the commentary could be 2 sissys crying and i wouldnt know...

i turn that off in all sports games, get custom soundtracks and just play that way.

all commentary gets stale after 2 games.. for me anyway!!

The player models are alot closer to EA's this year, I still think EA's goalies look better and EA's faces look a tad more detailed, but they've finally narrowed the gap a bit which is very welcomed.
No way EA's faces blow these away. They are closer, but EA's have more polygons. But the commentary is not that big to me. I turn that off. I am talking about Arena Presentation. Go score a goal in any Arena in 2k9, they are all different. It is so amazing!! That is what I love about the game. Also, in that wii pic of the Blue Jackets. I saw a 4 guy hug after the goal! Maybe 5 man hugs are in this year. One thing that got me stoked was they added more animation. I hope they blow that up this year. I really love what I am seeing and hearing. If the Sharks come out of the Shark head, oh boy! And if we get the 5 guy hugs I will be very happy. I know that is real silly things, but it goes a long way for me.

Yeah thats kinda a bitch to do without a media pc setup. I'd love to use that custom music pack for 09, but I'm way to lazy to burn all those tracks to a disk and manually edit everything in playlists. I've always been a big pbp guy, from way back when EA first added it to the PC version all those years ago.

Eh, this does nothing for me. If anything, the attention that the Wii is getting from 2k indicates to me that that is their #1 focus and the ps3/360 won't get the attention over the next few years. Oh well.

And you would be wrong, but keep thinking that. They said that the wii will have everything that PS3 and 360, but they still put a lot of attention to the PS3 and 360. Not the other way around.

We'll see. It's not like this preview or whatever set in stone my thoughts on the game, but I would not be surprised at all to see 2k decide to push the Wii version, especially considering EA hasn't touched it with the NHL series. EA has dominated next-gen and 2k has resorted to taking year-old features from EA and pumping them up as their own. Not a terrible idea considering EA has been a success, but it just seems like it's a year behind.

Like I said before. I used to think that, but I WAS SO WRONG! Trust me they are putting a lot of man power on on 2k10 for the 360 and PS3.

Re: NHL 2K10 Feature Blowout (IGN)

Well it's good to see some all around optimism on the 2K forums again. I know we still have to see some gameplay video from 2K,but this is easily gonna be the best year for hockey gamers I feel. I'm excited, I know that. Just hope I can afford both at the same time, because I don't wanna wait for either one.
