This hurts EA (even if its just a little) so I'm happy about it but this is just one example of how the UFC under Dana White does business and its not good. UFC is on top but why potentially alienate fighters? No good comes out of that. F EA and their MMA game but I hope the UFC doesn't really end up banning some potentially championship level fighter over this. There are some good fighters out there off the top of my head that may be in the UFC in the future. On one hand I like the thought of all the good fighters fighting under one umbrella but when that umbrella starts trying to strong arm everybody maybe there needs to be another solution or something.

There's probably a decent ammount of them that aren't welcome back or don't want to go back anyway.

It's a league just like the mlb or should be treated that way. Sometime soon the fighters will probably unionize in some way maybe...either way, the fighters should all give away their game license when signing the contract imo. Why shouldn't they? Maybe it should not be lifetime, but just as long as 1.5 years after they're gone...idk...but there is no reason a ufc fighter should want NOT to be in the game.

Ea should just do what affliction did and start there own org, or at least just become a very strong partner with another org like affliction and strikeforce. UFC is the 700 pound gorilla but if enough partners get together with a good plan and enough time they can compete with the UFC. Strikeforce is about the only other org that has been profitable outside the UFC. They are doing a great grassroots promotion and selling out most of the time in there local venues. I think even there trip to St. L was a sellout (usually west coast). UFC is being very agressive protecting their turf but you gotta think the restrictions they are putting on fighter is going to turn off the fighters/managers/etc at some point.
