Re: Madden NFL 10: Chicago Bears Ratings (ESPN Videogames)

    Analysis of Packers Known Ratings:

QB- Aaron Rodgers- 86. Exactly what I predicted. He had a great statistical year and is on the verge of entering the elite.
HB- Ryan Grant- 85- I'm pleasantly surprised. He went over 1000 but lacked the burst he had the year before. I was thinking 82ish.
WR- Greg Jennings-90-Jennings is electric. I thought he could've been a few higher, especially with Roddy White @ 94. But he's still gonna be good.
WR- Donald Driver- 85 He may not be the number one target anymore but he is still a reliable threat.
    --------
LB- Aaron Kampman- 93 New position, but very similar role. This is about spot on.
CB- Al Harris- 90- Even better than I thought they'd give him. Came back from a spleen injury and was at top form.
CB- Charles Woodson- 93- Again, spot on. He is resurecting his career and is now a top 5 cb.
CB Tramon Williiams- 73- A little surprised. He stepped in for Harris and showed he's starting material. Thought he'd be like a 78.
FS- Nick Collins- 93- #36 was a big time playmaker and made the probowl but his fundamentals could still use some work and I didn;t think he should've cracked 90.
SS- Atari Bigby- 80- Again, exactly what I predicted. Dissapointing injury riddled year after an amazing '07.

yes, thats what im saying. Those were 3 games where we blew it at the end, and the 'too much time on the field for the d' excuse gets made but the stats don't back it up

We also know Jeremy Thompson is rated 50 overall. (injury blog) but I think if he can win the starting ROLB job (which he has a good chance of doing) then he can definitely make Donny re-rate him.

the whole reason this all started is cos someone said the bears D was getting old but then not sure if it was the same person but some packers fan said the bears D was average age which is what i was looking for
and i was also questioning how Ea could make corey graham only a 60 considering he came in cos of injuries n played very well yet he is said by alot that he is better then vasher

Yah, he's been shining in OTA's. I think Kampmans time in GB is limited.

Did some more digging on pastapadre.com

                        Cullen Jenkins: 82
                        AJ Hawk: 78

                        Not surprised about Hawk
But I think Cullen Jenkins should be at least an 86.

It was a different person because I was the one who said they were of an average age. Urlacher is older, most everyone else is around the average NFL age.

Same with the Packers, Woodson and Harris are old, but Woodson has apparently found the fountain of youth because it hasn't affected him at all. He's just gotten better. And then the rest of the defense is very young, aside from like Ryan Pickett and Kampman.

He'll benefit from more zone coverages that Capers will use. He doesn't have the physical ability to stay step for step with guys in man coverage like Woodson and Harris can. He can to a degree, but not enough. He's got real good instincts though and a lot of his INTs came in zones last year. He's a great young player

i will admit woodson n harris are old but still can play like they were young
but saying urlacher is too old to play is really a joke hes still a 100+ tackler n i think with the changing of the D back to lovie will allow him to produce better again in the passing game considering with babitches D he was always on the line of scrimage...
