Most of the time I take up for the EA guys when people are hammering them, however, I have to agree with alot of the negativity on this one. I read somewhere on here where 99 should constitute a future hall of famer. I couldn't agree more. But with some of these, and Donny dropping the ratings of alot of the "average" players even lower, these top 10 guys are going to be like Greek Gods out there!!! I play as the Titans so Manning is going to be a beast!!! Speaking of Titans, you mean to tell me Chris Johnson isn't top 10 material? He was the 8th leading rusher in the league, 3rd in AFC. What gives?

So yes, they would suck without very talented teams around them.

For someone advocating statistical analysis, you don't seem to have done any. Staubach and Bradshaw played before the 1978 rule changes. They were very good, but statistically don't compare to today's QBs. That's because the rules did not allow them and their recievers free reign. They had to earn that football, it wasn't free like it is today.

Furthermore, both had to make plays because cheating was not allowed. You couldn't throw the ball at the HB's feet to avoid a hit (naked cowardice).

You mean Culpepper to Moss? I remember that combo. IT WAS EXPLOSIVE. Thanks for making my point for me! Those two were good for like 40 touchdowns in a season, and battled with Manning for the record.
For the record. There are different types of analysis, legal, statistical, military, etc... I simply asked you a question based upon "your' analysis. I put forth no statistical analysis of my own. I simply made an observation based upon what you were saying.

What you consider cheating, seems to be game evolution designed to protect qb's and players in general. Based upon my observational analysis, what the NFL has done in that regard seems to be quite sound.

Lastly, Culpepper and Moss battled Manning for the record. Brady and Moss took the record. What point were you attempting to make?

There seems to be an error message associated with this video, I can't see it. Much like the error in your argument. Brady had three rings and much success before Moss and with Moss, Culpepper not so much.

Now I KNOW you didn't go there. Do we REALLY need to talk about Brady's fake record? Do we REALLY need to get into him going 5 wide late in the 4th quarter against bad teams with a 35 point lead?

They broke the record because it was all they cared about. Sportsmanship be damned. The ran up the score on weak teams in a league where defenses play with one hand tied behind their backs. That 50 TD record is an embarrassment to the NFL. It was all about Bellicheck trying to get back at the media for catching him cheating.

Well now you're changing the argument. Brady has NOT won a SB with Moss, he was statistically successful though.

There is a difference between being statistically successful and winning. Tom was a winner when he played the game-manager role. Now that he wants to be the stat king, he's not winning rings.

Perhaps he should go back to letting his kicker win games and then taking credit after the fact...

shotgun the colts did the same thing and noone said anything then, people only got pissed cause they were the patriots. Sportsmanship be damned, if you want to be respected as a team play your best till the whistle blows. If you suck, that isn't the other team's fault.
