I take back the sammich comment, Ware's got surprisingly skinny legs.

There are two types of people on OS: Those who disagree with me, and those who agree.

The first kind is wrong. The second is superfluous.

The only difference between reality and fiction is that fiction needs to be credible.

Running animations should be high on the list for '11. They still look really rigid and clunky.

Re: Blog is up! Run blocking improvements...

        Good read.

Was hoping to see something about push-the-pile animations returning or any kind of interaction animations between RBs and his blockers. Perhaps not feasible for this year, but maybe just add some evasive or "squeeze through" animations that trigger automatically when the RB hits a wall of blockers/defenders a la the 2K games.

                  I LOVE IT!!!!

I am so glad to see the QB actually make a block for you on that outside run video. I am very pleased in the directions you guys are headed in and I trust you will get the running animations down for the next madden.

But yea, this made my day and if I am going to by madden this will be the reason why.

Yeah, well, he must have covered, because he braces himself in the hit stick video. As I said, the responsibility is with the guy on the sticks.

Oh I feel you on this one Adem, It's hard to believe they got the bodies right.

                        AFTER ALL THIS TIME!

Color me impressed with how well they made the players look this year.

Don't mean to clog up the thread with a useless argument but I'm sorry bro, there's no bracing there. Not that I can tell, anyway.

Thanks again Ian! The game looks incredible! Great to see the new hit stick animations! The over abundance of WWF hits were quite annoying. Looking forward to the reports from E3.

I was hoping for something about the goal-line/short yardage. Will we have "submarine" D-lineman and "over the pile" jumps by RBs?

In the second video at :22 seconds, you'll notice that Portis stops dead in his tracks mid-run allowing the defender to latch on for the hit. I saw a lot of that in 09. It's not the worst thing in the world, but once you notice that it kinda sticks out.
