Just got confirmed, its the patch. NOtes will be posted on the 2K website in a few minutes as well. Gotta go post there now.

No 360 yet. They were not even expecting the PS3 patch until next week i think. Like i said, when i told them, their reply to me was, What the.... lol

Ugh. I've been putting off this game for so long as the AI agressiveness has been making it so unplayable.

I hope the 360 patch comes in earlier than expected too! I want to start my franchise so bad.

Hey guys. Couldn't deal with the glitches anymore. Just got back from picking up a PS3 for some 2k9 with second patch. I'll let you know how it is.

Awesome. I want to know about AI agressiveness mainly. And see if there is any change in progressive lighting.

Oh and on the inside edge page for each player. See if it still says "D" for each walk rating like pointed out in Joe's thread or if it has changed to various ratings.

There is someone posting on 2k forums saying it will be released Friday for 360 owners.

Supposedly, he has a good contact at Microsoft.

Not true...how come the 2k forum is allowed to have patch discussions and threads and SCEA isn't, it makes no logical sense. It's an unfair double-standard b/c we are not allowed to discuss the Show patch b/c the
developers are on the board

Anyway I'm done discussing that here. I want to hear impressions on the 2k patch
