That was one heck of a blog [info] for early March.

I just love the number of times the words...realistic and realism etc. were being used. Thanks Ian for the great additional news about '10'.

Well, first, the new QB dropback speed looks much better! But, the new sliders (Gamespeed and Speed Difference) are amazing additions!!!!
OMG, it's so cool to think that I might prefer overall to play on Pro, but still be able to tune the speed of the players collectively!!!! Great, great, GREAT work!

"This poll proves that people never can seem to agree on game speed. So what did we do? Well first we decided to decrease the game speed by 5% overall. As subtle as that change to game speed may sound, it has drastically improved the overall control of the game. It is definitely easier to identify the hole created by the offensive line. Scanning the field as routes develop make it easier to keep passes out of harm's way. But we know that not everyone wants that style, so we also included a GAME SPEED SLIDER. Finally right? J"

I think someone already asked this question, but ill go ahead and ask it agian.

Basicly, a 99 spd player should not always run a 4.21. Say that players acc. rating is only 85, then that player should not run 40 yards on the field as fast as a player who has 99 spd and 99 acc.

Ian, if you could possibly shed some light on this topic we would all appreciate it. Thanks!

Keep in mind people that this is mid-MARCH. We weren't even getting info about 09 at this time last year. I can't IMAGINE how Ian could possibly keep up this kind of quality every week. I'm sure some updates will have to be smaller in scope such as adding helmets that people keep clamoring for for some reason, but the fact remains that these are still considered "minor" updates! Wow.

Tremendous work Ian as well as the rest of the crew. Obviously Ian gets a lot of the credit (and criticism of course ) but the rest of the team deserves it as well.

great job, but that running backs coach should be fired for the back taking the handoff with the wrong arm up. Inside arm should always be up.

I am SO glad you lowered the overall game speed. It was WAY too fast before . People just do not move that fast and I'm glad to see it is being addressed, along with everything else in that blog.

Its nice to see that EA is finally listening to the people that actually play the game.
