Ian one question though, Is this a screen shot of Madden NFL 10?? Because for some strange reason the player model on this screen shot look very good, like they are more realistic and proportional then Madden 09?? Does anyone agree? The knees, shoes, pads on thighs, size of the head and helmet, all look better. I really hope the players models improve overall..

The player model looks good but the facemask still looks white instead of grey like it should be...which bugged the hell out of me in '09

update:glad that is '09, please fix this facemask for '10

Towels would be a nice little feature but they've got bigger fish to fry right now. Let them work on the core gameplay and franchise elements first, then we can worry about the little things. Towels don't mean anything if the game isn't playable and franchise mode is boring.

As others have stated, they have a art team that ONLY works in this area, so why not include it now? that is not going to take away any time from any other devision. Yes, put a towel in every now and then, why not. Any moving animations are going to add a lot of realistic feel. Look at 2k basketball, making the shorts and shirts move was awesome, and a HUGE upgrade to the game.

It is a pretty good one though.
Two things that have always bothered me.

1. CO-OP Play. I think a more consertive effort needs to be made regarding co-op play. More people need to be allowed to play on one team in both versus play and vs. cpu.

No one likes the comparison to 2k, but 2k had the ability for many more than 2 friends to play on the same team. For some hardcore guys that live in close proximity, that's a cool feature.

I'd also love to see this implimented online as well. To me, nothing beats going online to play with a friend vs. cpu.

2. Online Franchise mode. This has been a very long time coming. If it's done, it would be really nice to see it OFFICIALLY done right.

One feature that would be very cool is again, to have the ability to run a season online with a friend, but not being forced to play with 32 players. There have been many times where I would have loved to play with another friend online "Franchise" and we both pick a team, and the two of us play through multiple seasons vs. the cpu. If we play each other throughout the course of the year or playoffs, fine, but playing against the cpu is still cool for some of us madden players.

Alot of emphasis has been added to playing against other people, but for some, we find most people have a hard time playing SIM football or football to our liking. That's why it would be very nice to have the option.

That has bothered me for years and I would like to see it fixed. If nothing else, the co-op would be a huge step in the right direction.

agree 100%. its not just about having online franchise, but having it dont at least good enough for people to use it...

for instance 09 online leagues. i dont want this to come off as flaming, but it was really poorly done. for instance:

- the schedule. just awful. forcing you to play every team at least once, just shows a lack of understanding of how leagues are going to be used. we had to play a 31 game schedule in our 32 team league. thats like 2 full NFL seasons...

to make things worse, there was NO option for playing teams 2 times each. there was an option for 1,3,5. but not 2? i dont see the logic here. 1,2,3 are the most likely options, why nothave 2?

- the draft had no live option. if your going to have a draft option at all, it needs to be live. ok, no biggie, but then the ranking for the draft took forever, and then the logic didnt follow through

- trades. trades were nearly impossible to make because of the set up. only 1 for 1 trades? with no draft picks that makes a trade highly unlikely. whats wrong with 2 for 1 deals or multiplayer trades?

- no free agency. if your drafting a team you need free agency to fill the gaps.

- no nfl playoff system, no division, etc...

there just really was nothing well done about it. scheduling was a mess, drafting was a mess, replacing players was a mess.

i would just like to see someone put some real thought into the online league/franchise. its be very well done in more then a few other games.

Re: [EXCLUSIVE] Madden NFL 10 News!

Just signed up for the forums to send Great Madden NFL 10 Suggestions (found out EA Sports was listening to fans). So,

Suggestion #1= If you can get a tackling system like the game "BackBreaker" this game should get a 10 out of 10. And I know EA possess the money to grab the Euphoria Engine.

Suggestion #2= Make the Spectacular Catch Weapon do exact what it says. Wide Receivers with this weapon should make more one hand catches come back to the football more often.

Suggestion #3= If you can fix the presentation to when you play a football game and it is halftime, do a halftime show, instead of showing a 5 replays and the player just looks at the one he wants to see. And, then for franchise mode, during the halftime show, show all the games that are being played during that time, and then maybe while your playing your game after like the punt return, kick return, or touchdown, give a score alert and allow the player to see the score.

Suggestion #4= finally the last suggestion I can think of his to adjust the CPU's playcalling. At times on offense, the computer rarely goes long, weak quarterbacks passing all over my defense, and calling perfect plays to stop my defense. Samething with the CPU on defense, calling perfect plays to stop my offense. So I figured out a solution for fixing this glitch, pretty easy too. All you have to do is give offensive, defensive, and head coaches a specific knowledge level, and how accurate the plays are called should be based on that knowledge level.

Thanks for Reading.
(so much typing I had to do)

(I also hope Madden NFL 10 becomes the best football game, because I'm getting tired of having to modify every single player's stats in the game just to get the game to play better!)
