Re: PC demo released
I guess they have to do that b/c the file is so big? I have to wait 40 minutes before I can even start downloading, seems dumb. Excited to test it out though, hope my CPU can handle it. -
Re: PC demo released
Well apparently my brand new laptop can't run this game. Was moving soooo slow. Only thing I can think of as a problem is that my dual core processor is only 2.1 ghz and the minimum requirements for vista says 2.8 ghz single core. Would that cause it to move very slowly? Guess I won't be getting this game for PC...Comment

As MLB says your GPU could and probably will be your problem.Comment

Re: PC demo released
Yea the more I thought about it I figured it was my graphics card (I think that is the GPU). I have a mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset, whatever that is, and I have the latest drivers. I also installed the latest Direct X. I have plenty of ram and memory and all of that.
Thanks for the help.Comment

Re: PC demo released
Still interested to try it out. I may still get the PC version later if they can iron out some of the bugs and some good mods are created. The 360 version isn't really doing it for me.Comment

Re: PC demo released
I just played a couple games of the PC demo. The graphics look decent - especially day games. The fielding is strange and so is the base running. I've been able to get the CPU to swing and miss quite a bit, but they don't watch much at all go by. I'm getting used to the pitching controls now, so they're lookin' at more go by now.
I'm running it at 1400x1050 with everything on high. The game runs very smoothly and hardly ever bogs down to 30 FPS - only when it has to render a lot of the crowd in one shot, but that's because I'm pushin' things beyond my computer's limits. It's still very playable.
PC Info
CPU - AMD 2.2GHz Dual Core
GPU - GeForce 8800GS
RAM - 2GB 667 MHz
OS - VistaLast edited by MLB; 03-04-2009, 03:51 AM.M!keComment

Re: PC demo released
I just downloaded demo, but all I get is a black screen with sound when I try to play it.
My cpu has windows xp
Intel pentium 4 -2.40 ghz
1 gb ram
Radeon 9600 series video card
200 gb hard drive
Is my cpu not good enough, and if so, what would I need to upgrade?
Thanks.Comment

Re: PC demo released
I just went to that link and your video card only has shader model 2.0 hardware on it. I think the game needs shader model 3.0 hardware. The bad news is you can't run it now. The good news is it wouldn't cost much to upgrade to a graphics card that could run the game well.M!keComment
