I just recieved a PM and the response to maybe a "patch" fixing some stances this year that they couldn't quite get to (i.e., Soriano)...

That is not what I stated. I said don't count on it under promise and over deliver. That way if it doesn't happen already told you it wasn't if it does everyone will be surprised I think most will like it that way.

The graphics are VERY impressive. Animations as usual are excellent, love the signature style improvements. Ya'll making it hard for a brother to choose which baseball game to get this year...

I love to see the liveliness of parks like that, but don't they close off Sheffield and Waveland for games? Or is that only for playoffs or something?

One thing i loved was seeing the people in the crowd get up from their seats and move across the isle they were sitting in and then walking up and down the stairs that was great.

Dave, I seem to recall a dev saying they had clouds, but they didn't move (I think that's what I heard), so it was nice to see they were moving. Adds to the presentation.

Yep Jim, cloud speed and direction is determined by in-game wind speed and direction. As are flag directions and speeds...;-)

Zambrano's pitch movement looks straight nasty in this clip! (kind of an oxymoron)

I'm not sure if developers or anyone tried to give us an ultimate clarification, but yeah the day games have static lighting. This is the first gameplay video of the finished version I've seen, so I guess that's all I can really go off of.

The time of day varies stadium to stadium but generally we choose something that looked good in that particular stadium, between 1pm and 4pm. It was dissapointing, but the change over to global lighting took us a looong time. We had to make sure all the dusk to night transitions looked perfect before we could go back to day. Thanks for the clarification Pat. Yeah, I knew I wasn't going crazy when it felt like most games were "later" (we had a long-winded debate over what time of day the day games were lol).
