I really like the 3 inning demo. The gameplay was decent and the graphics are way better than 2K8/The Show 09, but not so much 2K7. I'll probably get it around mid-season.

so far pleasantly surprised with the improvements. Should be a decent video game of baseball.

wondering if anyone can shed some light on the new pitching controls? Now that there is no timing/release point, where is the challenge? So far I just pick where I want to throw, do the motion, and throw a strike. Seems way too easy...am I missing something?

EDIT: I just found out that you dont even need to do the motion for the pitch, just move the stick to the first position of the pitch you want to throw, and it throws it and so far for a strike every time. This is weird.

Also, is it possible to miss a pitch when hitting? No matter where its thrown I am hitting it.

Suppose these are just the easy controls....with that stuff made more difficult, this could be fun

press down on the dpad, and a lineup screen will show up; There u can click on whoever u want to substitue and then use the right trigger to scroll through ur bullpen bench etc

Whoever said before that his fielder just stood there as a ball fell right on him, it just happened to me. The guy just stood here and wasn' moving. I switched players with A to the player next to him and all he did was a rolling dive over the top of the ball and missed it too. Then by the time the dumb animation finished, the guy was at third. ANother thing, EVERY TIME I hit a line drive o the short stop going at an angle towards center field from the infield, when he catches the ball, he just stands there for 5 or so seconds and just sways from side to side along with the outfielders, and I can't do anything...
