Last year you could make trades, release, and re-sign(Contract) players but you couldn't sign free agents to any other team but the one you are controlling. Just wondering if we are able to do all of that this year? Thanks

Also can we select uniforms for both teams in franchise or are we limited to just teh user controlled team?
When I say you have control over all 30 teams, you are making every decision for every team. That includes trading, player re-signing in the offseason, dealing with injuries, etc.

As for uniform selection in franchise, you can put either team in whatever uniform you want (including home uniforms when they are away and vice-versa).

Thanks SimBaller I appreciate it. One more thing I don't know if you can answer this but are retractable roofs in this year? Will we have the option to choose open or closed? also when you play in place like Houston,Arizona, and Milwaukee will teh roofs be closed depending on the weather? Thanks again

Does the game also have AI offered trades as well? I don't have any of the MLB 2K series but it looks like I soon will.

This game may just stop me from buying a PS3 for the Show... 2K9 sounds like a huge improvement from last year cant wait....does anyone know when the demo drops?

I REALLY like that all-star break stuff. I got excited just at the thought of one of my players making the homerun derby.

This article may have officially sold me on this game ( as long as it performs equally on the PS3 of course, )

                      *crosses fingers*

It will be interesting to see how this shakes out. Sometimes when a team starts over like this, it takes a while for the game to get to where it needs to be.

                      But these do sound interesting.

Sounds interesting, but I would still like to see 40-man rosters, waivers and such. Not a bad start, though.

This is sounding better and better. Plus I have more trust in 2K than anyone else. Even if the game has issues they will usually address them with a patch. (College Hoops 2K8)

Jeez, you are so right, I can only imagine what football would be like if vc were allowed to make an NFL game. I think it's safe to say it would be outstanding. sigh....

REALLY? Now that is great news. This game just keeps getting better and better. Again the greatest one year leap in video gaming history IMO.
