VC certainly deserves a hand for fixing the game as much as they have in less than a years time. 2K8 was just awful in every way, 2K9 looks very much improved, which I'm sure is good news for any of the 360 only people out there.

The bat sounds are still exactly the same, I don't know why someone above said they were clearly different sounds, they're identical to last years.

Presentation looked really good, loved their replay angles overall and loved how the camera showed different things randomly during the batting/pitching. Very TV like.

For me though, the game fails in the gameplay department, it still has that 2K look to the gameplay, and that's NOT a good thing.

Nothing was going to have a chance of dragging me away from The Show, but this looks like it could be a good game for 360 only people to fill the video game baseball fix.

Agreed 100%!!!! After the mess called 2K8 and the 2K7 OTB problems as well, they need to throw us a bone here. I could live with a $40 price point, like NBA 2k9. Regardless of price, this is still a rent and see game for me.............with the previous disappointing games in the series driving that

Dude, are you serious............2K8's graphics better than 2K9?? Or am I just misreading this?? Maybe we played two different versions of 2K8.....LOL
