The article is dead wrong if we're predicting the REAL NBA All Stars for the '09 season. Now if we're talking NBA 2k9 predictions, its still wrong.

2k still rates people specifically on stats and position. No way Derrick Rose makes it over Gilbert Arenas. Theres no guarantee Kobe will even start over Iverson in this game. Tim Duncan over Amare is debatable as well.

Seriously? If Rose makes it, then Beasley is going to be a lock to make it. If there is one player from Chicago that would make it, it would be Deng. Next it would probably be Kirk. No way is Derrick Rose, who hasn't looked amazingly impressive in any of the offseason stuff going to be on the All-Star team, starting at that. Hell, he probably won't even start for Chicago.

That's true. Wasn't even thinking about that. Forgot that there are only Guards. Not point guards and shooting guards. Even then, I'm not sure they would get over on Billups for top point guard, and I forgot about Gil who is injured and may not be at his best.


...And I didn't realize that we were just talking about the videogame.

From what I read, it just looked like it was based off of real life. Nothing was mentioned about the players effect in NBA 2K9. Everything written about each player was based off real life.

My bad for the confusion.

Dude, we're talking about the GAME! There are times in the GAME when Kobe doesn't start over TMac. Someone who has this game (I think Pared) simulated through Association mode, and Kobe didn't even make the team.

Also, on another note, I hate when people type like u, with the CAPS mixed with lowercase...u must be in HS or something.

If the Rockets do well this year, and he stays healthy, then I think he has a pretty high chance to make it as a starter. Especially with help from China.

In the game, I think he can make it too. I feel like I was pretty effective with T-Mac in 2K8. So, I know that there are people out there that can make him a beast.

I agree with you but the comparison is pointless Calderon is a far better pg right now rose in maybe 2-3 yrs will be better than him. I predict jose avg 14pts with 9.5 dimes Rose if he plays major minutes will shoot just above if not under 40% with maybe 12pts and 6 dimes a game with 3 plus turnovers
