Re: NBA 2K9: Create a Player Video
Looks a little better. Still wanting a little more though! I realize this is nitpicking to many...
-I wish they had a larger variety of tats. On top of that, maybe even allow leg, neck, shoulder/back tats, etc.
-Shoes. I get that adding licenses is expensive (especially if you aren't EA $$$), but the generics (which looked to still be fairly prevalent in the vids) are just too plain. The white shoes especially. They just stick out in a bad way to me. Create a shoe would be Ok, but honestly if they could just whip up a few basic styles with the ability to select color it would do wonders. They just stick out like a sore thumb to me.
-Always wondered why they have knee pad varieties with holes in the middle, but they are the same color as the knee pad?
-I wish they had the textured elbow pads some have worn recently or in the past (Wade, etc.)
-Body types could be expanded as many have noted...
-Other cool adds would be hair bands (Sasha, Mike Miller, Oberto), goggles (Worthy'esque), mouthpieces (D. Gibson). Oh yeah, another thing; does long hair move yet? Wristbands with Numbers or Initials on them.
-Wish they had short, medium, and long length shorts option. Would make creating retro rosters more realistic. Kind of weird seeing Mark Eaton with shorts below his knee caps?!? A couple retro shoe styles would be an awesome addition too! Remember when they had the mock Converse All Stars! I'm not even a shoe afficinado, but Nike Dunks and Converse Weapons would be cool!
Like I said, looks good (and it could definitely be worse!)...I just wish there was a bit more. Not overly disappointed, as I didn't really expect them to add much. It has been pretty much the same now for quite a while.
