Re: NBA 2K9: Denver vs. Phoenix Video
Ya imo just like a few people said earlier this game appears to be an online players dream, and it would probably get a perfect score of ten from someone who doesn't have to deal with playing the computer. With that being said, i felt like the AI basically took baby steps from last year and i was expecting this to be the main focal point this year so i am extremely dissapointed. WAY too much passing and i never saw that one on one iso leading into a medium range pullup that you would have seen at least 5 times between melo and ai in five minutes of basketball. To be honest this thoroughly dissapointed me because it was the ONLY part of 2k basketball that was lacking in my opinion. But the sad thing is that this one on one part of basketball is what sets apart nba basketball from any other kind of basketball, the superstars and best one on one scorers are so skilled that it is sometimes a better option than team basketball. This point alone makes me feel that 2k has really left the door open for live to provde some serious competition this year. Live on the other hand implements the one on one element of basketball leading to the midrange jumper from what i can see in the demo. And no im not someone endorsing live and i haven't bought nba live for years, but this year could be different for this one major part of the game
