I would just like to comment that the jersey and shorts physics look amazing this year. I have never seen team uniforms look this good in a game before. This, in my opinion, is a major graphical advantage 2k9 has over nba live 09 (who's uniforms never move or look real).

NBA 2K doing what it always does. This is the calm before the storm. Each year, there's always it's fair share of doubters and detractors, rather it's because of the lack of information, Live releasing new videos and features, or its people that's flat out bored right now and can't wait for the game. Once they start releasing info and vids in september, you all will be in a frenzy. I seriously don't see why you guys would even doubt that 2K is going to bring it this year.

Alot of you played 2K8 so much at this point, that you're pretty much tired of it and have dissected everything that's wrong with the game, but if history is any indication as to what's to come, we know that 2K9 will be vastly improved. Also, to the people that's saying this probaly isn't real gameplay footage, I can't think of a time where 2K had anything along these lines, and it wasn't real gameplay footage. I've never seen 2K use CGI, or anything like that, so yeah, I'm pretty sure this is real gameplay footage.

This was back in 2k6, and maybe there was another one in 2k7. Clearly, those weren't the models used in the game.

This was back in 2k6, and maybe there was another one in 2k7. Clearly, those weren't the models used in the game.

Just wanted to be clear on that. The only reason I brought up the tech demos is because he said he hadn't seen 2k use CG before. If you're going to make a case for this being gameplay footage, you can't build said case on misinfo.
