In the scheme of things, who gives a cats behind?
I'm just curious to why you would think the spacing is a problem. Personally I dont think the CPU guards the basket well enough so I dont see a flaw in the AI however you might have a point about the court being too small I have never seen visual evidence of it but compared to CH 2k8 it does feel smaller.

On second thought I do see one flaw in the gameplay. When driving to the basket its too hard to split defenders and throw up running floater. While these shots are tough and often miss (contributing the controversial layup argument) they are fast and continuous as opposed to the slow winding drives of NBA 2k8.

The spacing problem is definitely there because of the size of the players/court but it has gotten better over the past year.

When they had the players built like tanks it was horrible, but yes CH does feel alot better in that aspect.

Im not sure what the discussion on gameplay flaws are, im not really talking about that as much as the size of the court seems to have a need to be bigger, or the players smaller and more lanky looking

i personally like the look of the players... if they got anymore lanky they would look like Live's "alien from the movie Signs"-player models! they should make the court larger for certain though... CH08 would be safice so that there doesnt have to be a total rehaul

Clark Kellogg, a NBA Commentator? Don't mean to complain or anything but 2k could of at least tried to get someone that does NBA commentary. Oh well, I guess it's not really that big of an issue...

The three point spacing is a big problem, half the time i kick the ball out to the weak-side out of a double team my practically designated three point shooter i traded for (Mike Miller) is halfway across the line and takes a long two.

Then once in a while ill do the same thing and he'll be like four feet behind the line.

First look. Should be called partial glance. This is typical. Nothing really to talk about. I must admit though, EA pulled out the big gun w/that DNA stuff. Not sure how good it will be but 2k better have something up their sleeve.

Well, it's good news that they decided to add tv-style presentation at least.

This sounds cool but not as cool as DNA. I will hold all judgement until we get more info and more gamelpay opinions but I must admit I am a hardcore NBA 2K player but damn does that DNA **** sound cool.

Doesn't seem like anything groundbreaking there.

I think we are at the point now where people (myself included) will be buying 2k over Live because it is what we are used to, even if it isn't significantly improved from past years.

This is just a feature list though, time will tell how the game ends up playing

How is the DNA from live different from player tendencies? From what I understand it's pretty much the same thing but it changes based on their real life performances etc.

How would this have an effect in franchise games though, where obviously you start off with a roster set and can't "update" the roster as the season goes on

I will hold all opinions until I hear some really in depth gameplay opinions. Not sure how it will apply to a franchise mode. Ea is known for making big promises and not delivering so I will wait and see. But I will give 1 example ... lets say there is a big trade and now the team and player dyanmics change. DNA would adjust for that and player tendencies would not. Just going off what I have read. Not really forming any opinions at this time but from a marketing standpoint to us gamers here at OS something like DNA just sounds like something I have been waiting for.

Again EA has a history of announcing things and not delivering so let's see what happens. I love 2k b-ball, I just think EA landed a strong first blow that's all.
