Creating the Perfect Wrestling Game

Wil McCombs checks in this week with his take on what the perfect wrestling game would be.

Quote:
"Wrestling fans know what makes the perfect wrestler. It’s a guy who can execute a perfect fisherman’s suplex, sink a forty-foot putt, and even throw a pass to himself. Although maybe he wasn’t perfect. After all, I did hear an unsubstantiated rumor that he once defecated in a brown paper bag underneath the ring, mid-match. Nobody’s perfect, I guess."

Good stuff here....I agree w\ everything to the tee. The only thing I would add is to the CAW dept. Having the abilty to customize your titantron would be a great addition. WWE Raw 2 did this somewhat w\ generic scenes of your character performing moves, and the abilty to put txt on the screen..which IMO made the game so much authentic in that aspect.

anyway, once again, good stuff

Yup.

And Mr. P wasn't exactly wrestling in that match, ya know.

That's a great point, I never even thought about the titan-tron video. That would be a great way to complete CAW.

And Jiggidy James - are you saying that the nasty rumor is in fact true?

l've always believed it myself. Henning was a notorious prankster and there's the oft-repeated story of him and the Klique going deuces wild in Jerry Lawler's crown.

Fire Pro Returns is alright, but import King of Colosseum II for PS2 if you want the best wrestling game in existence.
