Is it worth getting 2k15 if i have 2k14?

Im starting to get itchy to play some video game basketball again but after reading the reviews and looking at review ratings for 2k15 im kinda shocked that its a lot lower than 2k14, that being said is there any reason to get 2k15 if i have 2k14 already ?

There aren't many quality mods out yet. Maybe that's what he meant.

I think right now, there's more variety by far on 2k14, with UBR, but you don't have MySeason, etc.

Even without mods, it is definitely worth it. Bought it when steam had it on sale for $19.99

There aren't many quality mods out yet. Maybe that's what he meant.

I bought the game twice. Once for the PS4 for the much larger community and face scanning and once for the mods for the much better graphics and mods (unfortunately very limited compared to 2k14). No regrets. I have over 700 hours in it on Steam and well over 100 on PS4.

Not sure on the limitation front. The best thing I got from switching over to playing the PS4 version was the much larger selection of rosters and draft classes to choose from. If the modding scene on PC picks up then that will be the best version by far but for right now I think I'm sticking with the PS4 version unfortunately.

My favorite 2k memories ever were on the ultimate base roster simulating 50-60 years of nba with real players. If thats ever possible again I'll be so happy.

Since the creator of REDITOR was hired by 2K, it puts some serious doubt into whether or not we'll ever see UBR on anything beyond 2K14.

I just purchased 2K15 on PC, I had it on Xbox One from day one and rarely played it. I enjoy it much better on PC and the gameplay and graphics are far superior to 2K14 PC. With that said though, the mods are plentiful for 2K14, UBR being the only one you really need but it's hard for me to play after being spoiled by 2K15's graphics and superior gameplay.

I don't mean to be a thread-crasher, but if you guys like 2k14 because of the mods, you owe it to yourself to check out Skoadam and I's mod for 2k13 on PC. The link is in the PC forum.

31 seasons and everything is accurate. Coaching profiles, ratings, tendencies, play types, play books, sliders, contracts, everything. It does not have as many seasons as UBR in 2k14, but there is no comparison in terms of gameplay or sim results.
