I'm at work so I can't test this, but I'm always skeptical when I hear a slider is backwards in a game. I just find it hard to believe the game designers and programmers would overlook that or mess it up.

tried this and it worked for my game using raptors vs. heat... once bosh got the ball at the elbow, the guards will swarm him.. not only cpu doing this but my players were doing it as well...

however, when i played versus magic, almost one-on-one for the whole game...

maybe it depends on the teams... i'm using tomba's set...

this could be interesting.

i ONLY play online with thye Heat, yet my help slider is maybe 10% of the way up(10%red/90%black) and i never see help come when the defender is blown by.

not only did the heat doing help defense but wade did penetrate and kick out for at least more than 5 times on the game... once he kicked the ball out, his teammates will pull up a mid-range j most of the time and this results to lower PitP... i was surprised when i tried it earlier versus heat but was disappointed when i didn\'t saw the same help d and kick outs while versus magic... also, for those who have tried and found it not working, one factor maybe is on the roster and sliders they\'re using... i\'m using tomba 2k9 set and it worked for me versus the heat but not with magic... i\'ll try more games and see what happens with the other teams...

I don't think its backwards, I think its broken. Or at least it doesn't have near enough discernible variation between 0-100.

I have played with it at both extremes and haven't noticed a big difference.
